Christoph's POV

After a few more hours of wrangling little children that were hyped up on cake, candy and whatever else my mother decided to get, everyone was leaving.

Finally.

I was putting all of Nikolai's gift in his bedroom at my parents house because I'm not taking all that crap home with us.

US.

Speaking of which I need to talk to Makayla about her and my son moving in with me.

Anyways I am putting the last gift up when I feel someone's presence behind me.

"Yes Makayla".

I already knew it was her, she's the only one that makes me feel something when she's near or around me.

"Well there you are Chris. I was looking all around for you".

I turn around to see her holding our sleepy son in her arms. He had a long day today. Walking to them I wrapped my arms around the both of them feeling their warmth with mine.

"I actually have things to discuss with my father regarding business so we are going to stay here tonight and leave in the morning."

"Business at this time of night", she questioned.

"Yes Makayla, business. And no I'm not telling you just yet but I will tell you when the time is right", I say while rubbing her lower back gently.

"Ugh, well you better tell me soon", she looks up at me with a particular look, "or there won't be anymore of you touching this".

She steps out of my grip, chuckling walking out the room.

Damn that woman.

I was heading down to my father's office for this meeting we supposed to have. My mind is truthfully on me getting answers. That's all that matters right now.

Walking into the room I see everyone seated down including Malcolm and Michael

Perfect.

"Well Christoph is here, we can finally begin."

"Well as you know..."

Honestly when he started talking I zoned out. I only have one thing on my mind right now.

"What do you think about that Christoph?"

"Huh, what?" I looked up and noticed everyone's eyes on me. I seriously have to stop doing that
