Chris awoke to the piercing screams of his alarm , and dove under a mountain of pillows. He laid there for a moment , angry and feeling very much not ready to leave his bed . When he turned over and noticed that he was alone. Groggily, Chris sat up , trying to regain his thoughts , before grabbing his grey shorts and turning off the alarm , aliding his phone into his pocket . Then he stood up and paced towards the doorway. "Josh?" He shouted, his voice cracking slightly on the s . A muffled reply came from the living room , so Chris threw on his boyfriend's dressing gown and walked towards him . Josh was laid on the couch , holding a glass of water in his left hand which was trembling very few minutes , making water spill onto the pjama bottoms he was wearing . "You alright ?" Chris questioned , easing himself down on the sofa , letting his boyfriend rest his legs upon him .Josh went to take a sip of water when another tremor shot through his hand causing him to tip the rest of the water down his shirtless chest . Josh growled slightly before shaking his head and plastering a weak smile on his lips . " I'm fine , just a bad side effect day I guess " he murmered, and lead his hand down to stroke Chris's calf. Chris smiled and lent over , pulling Josh into a hug .
Josh willingly let himself be engulfed by Chris and sat fondly between his arms. He'd awoken a few hours ago , feeling extremely nauseous and had since had the worst side effects He'd ever experienced on any medication he'd ever had . As Chris wrapped his arms around him, Josh felt the sickness bubbling up again and jumped up and sprinted down the hallway. Befofe Chris even stood up , the sounds of vomiting were unmistakable. Chris sighed sadly , maybe last night had been a bad idea , he didnt think the weed or the pizza had helped Josh at all . The stocky man walked to the bathroom and began rubbing Josh's back lovingly, as he heaved into the toilet bowl . Josh gasped for air slightly before dry heaving a couple of times . Then he staggered back into his boyfriend's arms . " 'm sorry cochise " Josh murmered weakly , feeling extremely drowsy now. "It's all okay Joshy" Chris said fondly , letting him curl up in his legs . Chris slowly stroked Josh's head , playing with the curls in his finger tips ( as he tried to ignore the stench surrounding him). Within seconds Josh's soft snores filled the room . Chris waited a minute before carefully pulling his phone from his pocket-10.30- he'd give it until 11.00 until he woke Josh up
Josh felt himself being nudged awake and growled softly, before opening his eyes to the vomit splattered bathroom floor . "Hey bro, how you feeling?" he heard Chris say above him as he pulled himself to a sitting position. Josh shook his head quickly , regaining his composure. " Not feeling sick but my heads ringing like a bitch ! Throw me a codeine I'll be fine Cochise " Josh said ,wincing slightly at the volume of his voice. Chris nodded , going to the medicine cabinet and pulling out a bottle and passing one to Josh; who quickly swallowed it before washing his face in the sink , a few tremors still rushing down his hands . Josh caught Chris's worried expression in the mirror and felt his heart hurt a bit ; Chris shouldn't have to deal with this all the time - he thought. " I'm fine Cochise, I'm just going to have a shower then we'll get ready to go , okay ?" Josh said , trying to sound perky . Instead of walking away Chris promptly removed his clothes and walked towards him, and cupped Josh's jaw with his palms . "Josh dont bottle everything up again , I can see through that now . And I'll be happy and love you whether you're cuddled up in my arms or I'm holding your hair back when your sick . Anyways now you have the luxury of a shower with me " Chris Joked as he pulled off Josh's trousers , leading him into the shower . The couple hugged under the hot water for a moment before Josh smiled sadly at Chris . " What did a fuck up like me, do to deserve you ?" He muttered before pulling him into a kiss. Chris leant into the kiss , a moan escaping him before he pulled away and they began actually showering .
Within half an hour the boys were in the car and on the way to Josh's dads . Chris had texted Emily saying he'd be around ten minutes late as he had to drop Josh off but he was coming . Josh was wearing a plaid shirt , black mask and dark black sunglasses ; his eyes had became very sensitive to the skin when he had left the house . They were like that when He'd first transformed but after three minutes of frantic Internet searching Chris had told him the new found irration was another sideffect . They arrived at Josh's dad's for dead on twelve. His father's new house was the penthouse of a luxury flat complex, with four bedrooms and five bathrooms exactly what Josh expected . He went to leave the jeep when Chris pulled him back, pulling Josh into a hug ." Sure you'll be okay ? Ring me if you need me if not ill be here at 3 to take you back to Em's " Chris said fondly . Josh laughed feeling slightly like a child being dropped at school . " Yes Daddy " Josh laughed , leaving Chris to simmer in confusion and slight disgust , before planting a mask covered kiss on his lips and heading to his dad's floor .
When Josh knocked on the white wooden door, his hand shook rapidly. Josh chose to ignore this and pullex his hand back and waited for his father. Within moments Bob Washington answered ; wearing a plain white shirt and black suit pants , and ushered him inside .
Cbris drove quickly to Emily's house , arriving at her modern style apartment within minutes , exiting his car quickly and knocking on her door . The small Asian woman answered within seconds pullibg Chris inside . " Come sit !" She exclaimed. Chris entered and walked towards the pristine white sofa . The whole gang was sat around the room ,with Matt and Emily ,stood in the centre , looking about to burst with excitement. Emily grabbed Matt , pulling him into a hug before starting to speak ." So guys we have an announcement! We are eloping! In two weeks we are going to Spain to get married and we've bought you all tickets to come with us ! We have the hotel and everything sorted ! But we'd love you all to come , yes Chris even Josh, so will you please join us ?" Emiky babbled , smiling at the shock upon all her friends faces . Jessica leapt off the armchair and pulled Emily into a hug ." OH MY GOD! that's amazing Em!" She shrieked , already thinking about the tan she could get . Emily giggled , she was glad they decided to do this instead of having a massive church wedding, also her parents had been driving her crazy. "So will you all come? A few relatives are joining as well but nobody you haven't met yet ?" She asked hopefully. When everyone instantly agreed her eyes lit up like birthday candles . Then Sammy leant over and whispered into Chris's ear - " Will Josh be okay with this ?" . Chris nodded , thinking a break would do them good ." As long as he takes enough medication, and there's a shop selling meat he'll love it " Chris answered but quickly pulled his phone out and messaged Josh what was happening. He immediately received a messaged back saying -YES! Cochise its a shout- . Chris giggled and went to congratulate the happy couple on their news . Emily grabbed Chris and pulled him aside. " Not to be a dick , but it's Matt who wants Josh there not me, can you be sure he won't mess up the wedding , with his issues ?" She said snarkily. Chris had to hold back the urge to hurt her . " Why don't you talk to Josh about this later Em but he's on the right medication now so he's not the psycho you think he is !" He growled at her . A look of empathy crossed over Emily's face , an emotion which rarely happened with her ." I'm just really stressed about the wedding , okay Chris " She said , still never willing to apologise for anything. Chris knew that was as good as one though and
Smiled at her ."I am really happy for you Em" He said fondly . Em smiled and ran back to Matt. Mike and Sammy walked towards him then ; Mike holding a cup of coffee to give him. Chris grabbed it and sat back down on the sofa with them . Sammy twirled her blonde hair and looked towards Chris , a serious look on her face. "Chris , we think Josh should tell everyone about the wendigo thing " She muttered . Chris gulped and felt the fear begin to rise. "That's his decision to make and I'm not going to pressure him either way " he said sharply , his features firm so they knew he was being serious .They nodded meekly but a smirk was forming on Mike's face."But what happens when you take a wendigo on holiday ?" He joked .
