14- Help!?

'Oh thank God Kat! You're home, did you kill Spike?' Giles panicked

'Yeah Uncle, he's dust. Don't worry' I smiled sheepishly

'Oh good. Are you alright?' He asked

'Yeah I'm fine' I lied

'I know you heard, at the doctors, I knew you would listen in'

'Well I'm sorry I did' I sighed

'It'll be fine' he smiled weakly, his eyes had lost his usual sparkle and were replaced with a sad dull glow.

'I think it's okay. I had a good life' I laughed

'No Kat! We'll figure it out'

'Okay' I said pretending to give in.

I climbed the stairs to my room and was about to lay down when I heard the Scooby gang crashing through the door talking ever so loudly. I moaned but turned around and went back down stairs.

'Kat! Kat! Kat!' Xander said 'come join us Mini Giles'

'Okay!' I replied

'Kat do you remember the spell?' Willow asked already flipping through spell books.

'Nope not really' I smiled

'It had something to do with the face and the fire' Tara included flipping through different spell books.

'Maybe you are being taken over by an evil demon that you magically made' Anya said trying to contribute

'Anya! Don't say things like that to my niece or you can leave!' Giles snapped at her

'Anya sweetie what did we talk about?' Xander smiled

'No negative comments' she mumbled

'That's right' Xander smiled

I looked at Buffy who was just sitting at the table, not helping but the look on her face was as if she was sad.

'What's wrong Buffy?' I asked

'Nothing. I just feel like this is my fault' she replied

'Don't be silly! It's mine' I smiled getting up and going to the kitchen. I grabbed a box of cookies from the top shelf and rejoined the gang.

'Stop saying that!' Giles yelled at me

'Giles look if I had listened to you, Willow and Tara I wouldn't have done that spell and I wouldn't be here. Well no I would be here but healthy' I said making a point

Giles just sighed and hugged me.
I passed the cookies around, some of them eagerly took some or gaged at the thought of eating.

'Ah! Ah! Ah!' Willow yelled standing up 'I've got it! I've got the spell!'
Tara leaned over and started reading the spell.

'Yeah, that's the one but there's nothing bad about it' Tara said

'What do you mean?' Xander asked

'Well there is no warning if you stuff up something will happen' Tara said waving her hands in the air.

'Hm' Willow said sitting down and reading it 'yeah it actually looks like a pretty safe spell'

'That makes no sense!' Giles yelled joining them and reading the book.

'I don't kn- AHHH!' I yelled clutching my head and falling to the ground.

'Kat!' Giles yelled running to my side

'AHHH!' I screamed in pain holding my whole head trying to pop it open. I pulled my legs up to my chest and pulled my head in crying and screaming for the pain to stop in my head. And then it did and the whole world went black.
