After putting a tray down with drinks on the table, I turn to her with a curious look on my face
"What are the drinks?" I ask curiously
"Just some cheap cola" She replies
"Alright then" I reply
Jenny sits down letting out a sigh of relief. Her Chihuahua, Tilly curls up into a ball between me and Jenny on the long sofa.
"So, how are you then Liam?" Jenny asks in a chirpy tone
"I'm good thanks. What about you?" I reply
"I'm pretty good Liam" She says. "Anyways, got your eyes on a girl at our school yet?" She asks cheekily
"To be honest with ya', nope!" I replied
"Hmm, ok. You know, I've seen you blush around certain people. I think it's pretty funny" She states, sounding like she's going to interrogate me
"Oh, um....H-have you?" I asked, stuttering slightly
"Well, yea, of course! It's sweet to watch. There is one particular person I've seen you blush around..." She says suspecting an answer
"Well, yea, it's probably one of Connor's lady friends" I say nervously, trying to cover up any hints that I'm gay. What if she knows I'm gay? Wouldn't she hate me or something?
"Oh really? Ha ha, Okay then. Which one you got the hots for Liam?" She says with a slight tone of laughter
"Well....Umm..." I say, very slowly - Wait, what am I doing?!
"Well 'Um' what Liam? You can tell me anything ya' know" She says in a supportive manner
"I....I-" I stutter
"I what Liam? C'mon, spit it out!" She says in an encouraging tone
"I'm....I'm....I'm..Gay.." I say, with the words, slowly pouring out of my mouth. There. I said it, now great, I never though any would know. Jenny, surprisingly gives me a great big hug, shoving her dog, Tilly out the way from the couch
"I knew it- I mean that's alright!" She replies in a highly supportive tone, locked in a big hug
"It....is?" I ask
"It sure is. I'm alright with Connor being gay so why not you?" She states, still supporting me.
