While sleeping, Connor leans over and puts his head on my shoulder. It wakes me up slowly and I turn and say "Hey, I'm gay, I don't need a girl", not realising Connor was there and now being fully awake
"I ain't a girl Liam. Wake up. I'm gay too....As you may know" Connor says, with his head still on my shoulder and the dragged on film, Titanic playing in the back ground
"I...Yea...I'm gay...I wish I never said that" I say rubbing my eyes and reality hitting me in the face
"Don't worry. It's fabulous" Connor replies "Shall we go to bed? It's late" He adds
"Sure, can do..." I reply, letting out a huge sigh
Connor grabs my hand - Something I didn't expect. He drags me up to his room and throws himself on the bed. He soon drags me down beside him on the bed too. We both lay there, staring at the ceiling.
"I guess you know now. I'm gay. I've got something else to say, now I think about it" I say to Connor, in a calm voice
"Go ahead Liam" Connor replies gently
"I love you" I say clearly to him. It's out now. Am I doomed?
