I walk into the house and almost instantly see my mom stood in the hallway. She turns and says with an excited voice "Hi honey! How was your day? Did you make any friends? Was it good?"
"How much do you need to know?" I say jokingly. "It was quite good to be honest, I enjoyed it and made a couple of friends"
"I'm so proud of my baby boy! I'm so glad you've had a nice day!" she said with glee and hugging me tightly
"You can let go now you know" I say
My older sister, Emily comes through the door, closely followed by my younger brother, Robert
"Hello! Come here guys! Have you had a good day or make any friends? How was it?" she says happily, clinging and hugging onto them.
Emily begs for freedom and Robert sarcastically gasps for air.
"It's been good, I've made a couple of friends!" Emily said
"I've made loads of friends, it's been amazing!" shouted Robert
"Uh....I'm going to my room" I said awkwardly
"Ok honey, have fun!" My mother shouted
"Yea, have fun Liam!" said Robert, mocking what my mother had said
I ran up to my room and laid back onto my bed thinking 'This is great! Two new friends already. A new school, a new start for me! And one of my friends is gay and extremely cute....this is so strange....'.
