" MR.JEON. "

cosmopolitan, 6:13pm.
your pov.

giving yourself an hour so it can be a leisurely experience, you left a vanilla scent in the steamy bathroom from where you left moments ago.

glowing skin and thick, textured hair are probably your unmistakable and finest physical attributes.
you often found that the more you prepped, the better you felt in general, which immediately translates as confidence on your date.

"you look stunning, who's the lucky guy?" laying the black jacket over your shoulders, yeji laid flat on her bed watching as you nervously jumped in your venue out of the blend of feelings.

you chuckled at your actions, unaware of the eager excitement you felt for this moment.
"he's someone.." you said while putting on your earrings.

"that someone, better treat you like a queen." biting at your lower lip, you suddenly felt a wave of worry wash over you at the result of tonight.

it could go many ways, and you prayed that your brother wouldn't get caught in the act.
you checked yourself in the mirror before grabbing your phone and shoving it in the pocket of your baggy pants.

just below a whisper, you mumbled the words that made your heart clench. "i don't deserve him."
jungkook was different, one with only good intentions and a man who held devotion.

you fidgeted with edge of the table, sighing softly until a few soft knocks were heard at the door.
"speak of the devil himself?" yeji got up and sprinted for the door, wanting to see the guy who's taking you out.

you hurriedly ran your fingers through your light curls before catching up to her.
when you arrived behind yeji, his eyes trailed from hers to yours - sparkling with the whole galaxy.

the tension between you grew awkward, but yeji took her chance to push you into his arms and wave the both of you off with a "have fun!"

jungkook caught you and chuckled before holding your hand and walking out the corridor.
LINQ promenade, home to an experience with him that you never imagined.

hearing the footsteps of the two walking away, yeonjun peeked his head out to see the housekeeping cart outside jungkook's room.

he shut the door to face his two friends who were standing there waiting for the right moment.
"is this a good idea?"

"well you kinda have no choice.. your sister is out there stalling him for us to do this." jaemin spoke, his friend nodding his head in agreement.

yeonjun already felt uneasy, not as confident and assured he was a few days ago.
felix opened the door, seeing the lady grabbing a new set of towels in her arms and bringing them into the bathroom to the right of the suite.

he signaled for them to go, walking past a few doors before stopping by the cart.
the stocked up cart contained a laundry bag, essential products, coffee & hot cups.

jaemin reached around to grab the candy sitting on top when yeonjun slapped his hand.
"ow.. you ass." he growled at him annoyed, rubbing his hand as the chaos between the 3 friends stirred.

the employee came outside holding a set of sheets and a blanket before staring at them with furrowed eyebrows.

"need anything gentlemen?" she pulled out new and clean sheets as the 22 year old cleared his throat.
"the owner of this suite asked for anything in his room related to poker, mr.jeon is occupied to be here at this time."

watching the lady nod her head, a sigh of relief escaped yeonjun's mouth while his heartbeat continued racing in his chest.

she went in the room to make his bed, searching through a few drawers and clearing desktops.
running through the list of places it could be in her mind, checking off the ones she had already searched.

as she sifted and sorted, her eyes were constantly on the look-out for any poker related items she was looking for. by the time she finished lurking his suite, she was in something of a short-temper, having turned up nothing but a deck of cards and poker chips from a case.

bringing out the metal case that held a personalized poker set, she handed it to the guys waiting outside the door.

"that's the only thing, i apologize if it wasn't what you were looking for."
the young adults opened the case, feeling disappointed to find nothing but a deluxe game of poker settled in the casing.

jaemin returned it to the housekeeper as they thanked her and left the scene back to their own suite where they plopped down on the couch.

"nothing? no evidence?" it was beyond the bounds of possibility.
"let's drop it, leave your sister up to it." felix suggested, checking himself out in the mirror and messing up his hair.

"she's gonna kill me." cursing under this breath, jaemin laughed at him as the man sent daggers towards his friend.

"shit.. my bad."
