Chapter 13

Jennie saw Taehyung doing his model work. While she? She just waiting for him to finish.

She agreed to be his manager so Mr. Lee gives her all Taehyung scheduled.

"Ughhh, he's so timing." Jennie groans.

It takes a few minutes and Taehyung comes to her.
"How many hours I have to wait for you?" Jennie being sarcastic.

"Sorry. A lot of people want me to be a model for them." Taehyung winks.

Jennie sneered and walks away.
"Yah!! Wait for me!!!" Taehyung yells.

The ride is silent. Jennie just busy with her phone while Taehyung driving. Suddenly, Taehyung hit the break.

"Ahhh!!!" Jennie yells in shocks.

Both of them breathing heavily. Jennie glared at him.

"Yah!! What was that!?" Jennie asks.

"I almost hit the King and Queen." Taehyung rolls his eyes.

King and Queen?

Jennie looks in front and her eyes widen. That two married couples having a business with some people.

Jennie gasp and pull her hoodie up to cover her head. She tries to get down and Taehyung looks at her like she was crazy.

"What are you doing?" Taehyung asks.

"Help me hiding!!" Jennie taps his thighs.

"Why?" Taehyung asks in confused.

"That is my uncle Alex and aunt Madeline!!" Jennie answer.

Taehyung blinks his eyes a few times and smirks.
"Oh. They are? Can I call them?" Taehyung asks.

"NOOOO!!!!!!" Jennie yells. Taehyung burst into laughter.

"Just drive you, idiot!!!!!" Jennie smacks him.

"Okay okay." Taehyung chuckles. He starts to drive again and they get far from them.

Jennie let out a relieved sigh. She gets back to her seat and takes off her hoodie.

She fixes her hair.
"I think it really hard when you run away from home and never want to come back right?" Taehyung jokes.

"It is." Jennie glares at him.

"Why you don't want to come back?" Taehyung asks.

"You keep asking the same question." Jennie rolls her eyes.

"I know but don't you think about your parents? They probably worried sick about you. But you? You just happy out here. You really are a bad girl."

Taehyung try to jokes but instead of that, he didn't know that he hurt Jennie.

"Am I right?" Taehyung glance at her.

Jennie didn't reply but just silence. She knows, no one supports or understands her.

Taehyung notices that she didn't reply. He shrugs his shoulder and continues driving.

Jennie closes the door and sits on the couch. She closes her eyes.

"They probably worried sick about you."

Jennie keeps being distracted by those words from Taehyung. 
"They never worried about me." Jennie mutters.

"Who is not worried about you?" Rose suddenly appeared.

"Nothing." Jennie smiles.

"Don't lie to me, Jen. Even we met recently but...I think I know you lying to me. I can't feel it." Rose chuckles and sits beside her.

"Well..." Jennie sigh.

"Well?" Rose asks.

"Well, about my parents." Jennie confessed.

"Oh. So, what about them?" Rose asks.

"I think...it dangerous for me to go out. A lot of guards trying to find me..." Jennie looks down.

Rose stares at her. Jennie let out a heavy sigh.

"I think...my life will end." Jennie wants to cry but no tears left.

Rose sigh. She holds her hand.
"Jennie. I think...it time for you to go home." Rose says.

Jennie snaps her head to her with big eyes.
"What?" Jennie asks.

"I..I-I didn't mean to kick you out but...dont you think about your parents?" Jennie asks.

There's... the same question.

"What out menu today?" Jennie trying to change the subject.

"M-Menu?" Rose confused.

"Yes. I'm hungry. Let's go to cook!!!" Jennie rushes to the kitchen.

Rose knows she doesn't want to talk about it. But, she knows she's wrong also. She shouldn't ask that question.

It will make Jennie think negatively about them.

Jennie dries her hair with her small towel then sits at the bed.

"Mmmm, it so comfortable." Jennie smiles.

She lay down on her bed. Soon she lay down, her phone ringing.

"Hello and hello?" Jennie calls.

"Yahh!! Did you take my watch?" Taehyung asks.

"Your watch? Excuse me. No." Jennie rolls her eyes.

"I lost my watch." Taehyung whines like a kid.

Since when is he being like a kid?

"Then, fine it by yourself. There is nothing to do with me." Jennie says.

"Come on!! Jen!! You are my manager!!" Taehyung whines.

"Doesn't mean to help you with that little thing only." Jennie groans.

"Please!!!!! Come to.my house now!!" Taehyung whines. Jennie can tell that he pouting.

"Just curious but why you suddenly being spoiled with me?" Jennie frowns.

Taehyung silence. After a few seconds, he clears his throat.

"Just come to my house. That watch is important to me." By that, Taehyung hangs up.

Jennie furrows her eyebrows. She wondered why is Taehyung being like that so sudden?

This guy....really complicated.
