The Setup

Part Two: The Meeting

The doorbell rings and I go to open it. When I open it I see a very attractive guy who has brown hair, big brown eyes, and some facial hair. I also see a guy who look kind of like the first one but has more of a ginger undertone and a much larger beard. I also see a beautiful girl who has short blonde hair.

I great them and invite them in.

Before I even get the chance to introduce myself my aunt and her best friend bombard them with hugs and push them in to get ready for dinner.

Jamie's POV

My mom left to go to her friends house first since Jenny was taking forever to get ready. I was rushing my brother, Jordie and sister, Jenny to get ready faster because I hate being late to things.

They were finally ready and of course Jordie being the oldest insisted in driving.

HE TOOK THE LONGEST WAY THERE. It took us about an hour to get there when it would have only taken us about 30min to get there if he had just listened to me. I was so annoyed and I'm sure that the both of them could tell.

When we got there I rang the door bell and was greeted with the most beautiful person that I have ever seen. I didn't even hear what she said all I feel is Jordan pushing me in the door and my mom and her friend bombarding us with hugs.

The girl was gone.

I was looking around to see where she went. But once we got washed up and was shown to the dinning room I see her placing napkins on each place setting making sure that they were all paced evenly. She was laughing with these 2 guys. I assume they are her brothers.

I guess I was staring because she looks up and say hi.
"Hi! I'm Lucy. These are my brothers Connor and Nick" she says and they both say hi and left after a man calls them into another room
"Um, hey I'm Jamie" wow smooth bud.
Lucy (L)
Jamie (J)

L: "you must be Emma's son."
J: "yeah, are you Cuc's daughter?"
L: "ahaha no I'm her niece, but she is like a mother to me. These must be your siblings. Hi! I'm Lucy."

They greet her and I'm still stunned by her presence.

We all sit down but Lucy gets up and walks away. I wonder where she is going.

She walks back in with a pitcher of some type of juice it looks like and asks if everyone wants sangria that her aunt made and we all say yes and she walks around pouring some into each glass. When she got to me I try to keep my cool. I hand her my glass and she hands it's it back. She smells good. That's weird. Why am I smelling her. Omg I'm losing it.

Lucy's POV

This is weird. I am nervous. Why am I nervous. I'm never nervous.

I walk around the room pouring some sangria into each glass while joking around with my brothers.

And then I get to Jamie.

Holy shit I better not fuck this up. Knowing me I'd spill it on him. So I women up and hold my breath and pour him some. All I heard was a whisper some from his mouth saying thank you. Or so I think. I couldn't really hear him with all the talking going on so I just weirdly smile and walk away.

We were sitting across from each other and I try not to talk to him knowing me I'd say something stupid so I just stick to talking to Jenny who is beside me. Apparently she lives in Victoria, BC. I guess that is where they grew up before Emma moved to London, Ontario once her husband died. Jenny and I got to know each other really well. Nick and Connor then start talking about me to Jordan and I immediately look over at them.
