Chapter 3
Sammy's POV.
Man, I wanted this girl. . . I wanted her bad. We went to school since 7th grade together, and every time I talked to her I played it cool, but our conversations would get awkward, and it ends up going not so well. I was a ladies man and I knew it. But I didn't want just a girl that throws her self at me. I wanted this girl, Laney Gilbert. It was my year, she wasn't gonna push me away this year. We were in school for almost 3 1/2 months now, and I wanted to be with her before Winter Formal. I needed to, so I got her bestfriend, Josh and we walked over and sat at their table.
"Hey can we sit here today? " Josh asked in very loud voice.
"Derhh! " Kathy said.
"Haha! Wassup ladies? "
"I don't feel like talking to you anymore! " says Laney laughing. Her voice was soft and calm. Her smile lit up my whole world.
"Rude! " Josh laughed back.
"Hey Josh." says Jade finally looking up from her phone.
I needed to talk. I didn't know what to say. I felt my mouth open but nothing came up. What the he was wrong with me? Was I love struck?
