Nobodies POV

Freya was at her desk when one of the mail boys walk to her desk. "Here you go ma'am, todays paper." The young boy says, flinching when a large explosion is heard.

Poor thing looked terrified.

"Thanks son, now tell me what is a young boy like you doing delivering mail in the middle of a war zone." Freya ask

"Just doing my civic duty." The boy says

His bright blue eyes staring widely at her.

Freya gives him a soft smile, he reminds her of Loki. The pang of hurt going ignored, she has learnt to push the pain away.

"Well stay safe." Freya says, handing him a hundred dollar bill.

The boys eyes widen. "No ma'am I can't accept this, it's to much." The boy says, trying to hand the money back.

"Sweetheart it's fine, take it, just make sure no one sees you holding that. The world is filled with awful people." Freya says

The young boy nods.

"Thank you so much ma'am, this will pay for my mamas medicine." The boy says

Freya's heart melts. "In that case, here." Freya says, handing him another hundred bill.

The boys eyes widen. "No no I can't take this." The boy says

"The medicine tends to milk people dry of their money, this way you and your mother can buy yourselves some toys." Freya says

The boys eyes water. "How can I ever repay you." The boy ask "there's no need for that, you did your job. But I would love a name." Freya ask

"The name is Erik." Erik says

"Do you have a last name." Freya ask "I do ma'am but my mama said I should keep it to myself." Erik says

"Your Mother is a smart one, it's a dangerous time to be a German in the US." Freya says

The boys eyes widen. "Please don't tell anyone." Erik begs

"Don't worry sweetheart, I'm not from around here either, your secret safe with me." Freya says

Eriks eyes widen. "Thank you so much, miss..." Erik fishes

Freya smiles, "Freya and it's lovely to meet you. Now be careful out there. It's dangerous." Freya says

Erik smiles widely and he runs off.

Freya then picks up one of the newspapers.

Freya's eyes widen. What the hell. Steve Rogers was in the cover page but he looked different, taller, bigger.

He wasn't the same scrawny man he was before. Freya doesn't know if she likes this change.

Steve is posing with a crying baby. It also seems like he got famous. Captain America.

Freya opens to the next page and it shows Steve standing in the center of a stage as Dancing girls circle him, waving tiny flags.

He was a super soldier, the first of his kind.

Freya sighs, she thought he wanted to be in the army, guess not. Steve let fame get to his head.

Frey tosses the paper away, looking up as Bucky walks in. Bucky gives her a bright smile.

....

Black & white footage: Steve marches with the troops on a war.

Torn battlefield. Fade to color. Reveal he's marching on a treadmill on A movie set.

The word "HOLLYWOOD" spirals up.

....

On stage, Steve takes to the mic, confident.

"We all know this isn't about having a swell afternoon. This is about winning the war." Steve says

Suddenly, a kid stands up in his seat. Panicked, he points at "Hitler" creeping from the wings. Steve doesn't notice.

"But we can't do it without bullets and bandages. Without tanks and tents. That's where you come in." Steve says

More kids stand now, shouting. Look out! Behind you!

"Each bond you buy protects someone you love. So our boys will be armed and ready." Steve says

Just then...Hitler rushes him.

"And so the Germans will think twice before trying to get the drop on us." Steve says

Steve spins and fake-socks Hitler on the jaw.

The Fuhrer goes Down, the audience goes wild. Steve looks out at the adoring fans, soaking it all in.

....

A stack of Captain America #1'S, featuring Cap socking Hitler, thumps down at the newsstand

Kids clamor for a copy.

....

In a lobby, kids yell for Steve's autograph.

Steve hands his shield to Brandts aide. The aide sags under the weight of the heavy metal slab.

"Hey, Cap, my brother says you took
out four German tanks all by yourself." Little kid says "Sorry, kid. Tell your brother he's wrong..." Steve says

The kid sags, disappointed. Steve grins. "It was eight German tanks." Steve says

The kids cheer.

....

A movie magazine get shoved in Steve's face.

It's cover features him: "who's Cap kissing now?" A smaller photo shows a lonely Howard Stark, "Has Howard lost his Playboy crown?"

Steve looks up to see A beautiful blonde holding a pen. She smiles. So does he.

....

Captain America battle on a movie screen. Steve watches from rapt faces.
