Nobodies POV

Freya was holding Patty's hand as she recounts everything that had happened.

Freya was laughing along with her. Freya let herself show emotions. She was safe when she thought she was going to die and now she has Patty.

"Wow I never saw you smile." Patty says

Freya chuckles.

"I never had a reason to smile in the past. I lost so much so I closed myself off to any future hurt, but seeing you here and alive. I'm letting my guard down." Freya says

Patty pats Freya's hand, smiling widely. "I'm glad you can let it down with me. I'd like to consider us best friends." Patty says

"I never had a best friend before." Freya says "well you have one now." Patty says

Later that day.

Freya was back in her old apartment, braiding her brunette hair. She was exhausted, not physically but mentally.

Keeping to herself was harder then she thought, she wanted to shut herself off from people but now she has a whole group.

Freya knows she'll get hurt one day and it's already to late.

There was a knock at her front door.

Freya turns and sighs, dropping her hands, not finishing off her braid.

Freya walks over and opens her front door.

"Rogers." Freya says

Steve smiles widely at the brunette. "I just wanted to tell you that me and the boys will be at the bar tonight and I was wondering if you want to join us." Steve ask

Freya hesitates but she nods. "I'd love to join you all." Freya says

Steve's smile broadens, this was his chance to make a move.

....

In a bar.

"So, let's get this straight." Dum Dum Dugan says "We barely got out of there alive, and you want us to go back?" Jones ask "Pretty much." Steve says

"Sounds rather fun, actually." Falstworth says "I'm in." Jim Morita says, belching.

Dernier and Gabe Jones speaking French, Dernier laughs, they shake hands.

"We're in." Jones says

"Hell, I'll always fight. But you got to do one thing for me." Dum Dum Dugan says

"What's that?" Steve ask "Open a tab." Dum Dum Dugan says "Well, that was easy." Jim Morita says,

Steve goes over to the bar. "Another round." Steve says

"Where are they putting all this stuff?" Barkeeper ask

Steve joins Bucky at the barcounter. In the background everyone's singing There's a Tavern in Town.

"See? I told you. They're all idiots." Bucky says

"How about you? You ready to follow Captain America into the jaws of death?" Steve ask

"Hell, no. That little guy from Brooklyn who was too dumb not to run away from a fight. I'm following him. But you're keeping the outfit, right?" Bucky ask

"You know what? It's kind of growing on me." Steve says

Freya was walking towards the bar when she spots Logan. Her lips spread in a smile.

"What are you doing here." Freya ask

Logan gives her a smirk. "Rogers invited me, wanted to talk about joining his crew." Logan says

"Well are you." Freya ask

"Maybe, but that all depends on you." Logan says

Freya looks confused. "What do you mean." Freya ask "you'll see." Logan says, walking up towards her, looking down at her, taking in her appearance.

She was wearing a beautiful dress low cut in the front showing her perfect chest. She was also wearing Gold jewelry.

On her feet were short heels and her hair in loss curls. Her makeup done light with just the red lip standing out.

Logan just stares.

"Have I told you that you look absolutely stunning." Logan says

Freya smiles, patting down her dress. "You clean up nice yourself." Freya says

Logan chuckles and offers his arm. Freya smiles and she takes it. "Shall we." Freya ask

....

The singing in the bar stops as Freya and Logan walk in. The looked like a handsome couple.

But Freya eyes were on Bucky.

Bucky was frozen in place, his grip on his cup was tight, nearly breaking it. She was absolutely gorgeous.

Her blue bare into his. But he looks away, turning to his best friend, was he about to break a friendship to be with a woman he just knew for a few months.

Freya sighs and she sees his resolve, she had called it. So much for that promise if marrying her after the war.

But she was use to this type of hurt, it's why she had never married like her brother.

She let herself be vulnerable.

Freya turns to Steve and gives him a soft smirk.

"Captain." Freya says "Freya." Steve breaths

Steve offers her his arm. Freya lets go of Logan and she takes his arm, both walking off.

Logan sits besides Bucky. "She's beautiful." Logan says "yeah she is, looks like she likes you." Bucky says, he was filled with jealousy.

"That may be true but I see the way she looks at you." Logan says

Bucky looks up, surprised. "If she looked at me the way she does to you, I wouldn't be sitting here, moping." Logan says

Bucky turns to see Freya and Steve chatting happily. "I can't lose Steve, he likes her. And I like her enough to know who the better man is." Bucky says

"That's the cowards move, I was going to give you a chance but seeing as your giving up. I'm going to leave this bar and take Freya dancing." Logan says

Bucky sighs but he nods, he didn't feel worthy of Freya, she was perfect and he was nothing.

Steve's the better man and the better choice. No matter how badly he wants to be with her, he needs to back away.

Bucky wanted to shed a tear as his heart breaks into two but he couldn't so he finish the rest of his drink.

....

Freya laughs at a joke Steve just told her. Steve smiles, "Your smile, it's refreshing. I never saw you smile before." Steve says

Erskine was right. She filled him with warmth.

"You gave me a reason to smile, I mean you saved my life, you saved James and the others. I'm forever grateful to you." Freya says

Steve smiles, taking her small hand.

"Don't thank me, it's not something I do to earn fame or exposure. I wanted to save Buck and I couldn't leave you and the others." Steve says

"That's very noble of you." Freya says

Freya genuinely enjoyed Rogers company.

"So have you ever danced before." Steve ask "I have but my partners were boring at best." Freya says

Steve smiles. "I would ask you to dance but I want it to be perfect and a bar isn't that." Steve says

"Well I'll be waiting." Freya says

Steve smiles.

"I promise I won't make you wait to long." Steve says
