12.

Nobodies POV

There was a knock on the front door, and Maria moves forward to answer the door.

"Don't answer that." Vers says "that's probably your parents, I called them when I was grabbing your stuff. They needed to know your alive." Maria says

"So they know she's alive." Fury ask "not yet, I wanted to tell them in person, hence the visit. And trust me they can help." Maria says

Vers heart jumps, she was going to meet her parent, people she didn't know she has, but she hardens.

"They can change into anyone." Vers says

Maria sighs.

Fury and Vers walk towards the door and try to see who is outside. Vers answers the door and stares unfriendly at Freya and Logan.

Fury's eyes widen, it was Director Danvers. Fury swallows and stands a little taller. Fury has to admit, she was beautiful and looked incredibly fierce.

Freya and Logan's eyes were wide. The bag in Logan's hand drops. They were staring at their dead daughter.

"Carol." Freya breaths

"What do you want?" Vers ask "Carol..." Logan whispers in pain.

Her eyes were cold, unresponsive. There was nothing, she didn't know them.

Freya knew that look. Freya's heart was breaking. She doesn't know if she can handle this.

"Freya.....Logan.....Carols alive." Maria says

Logan's eyes water at the sight of his youngest daughter. Logan goes to approach her but Vers steps back.

"Carol isn't the same, Freya. She lost her memory in the crash. There's so much that had happened, she can explain it all to you but you have to be patient and answer any question she has." Maria says

Freya nods rapidly, she needed to hug her daughter but she stopped herself.

Vers clears her throat. "What is your first memory." Vers ask, Freya.

Freya was a little confused but she answers anyways. "I was three years old, my father had gotten me my first sword. I could barely hold it up but I never let it go, my mom had to force it off of me. My elder brother would tease me about it." Freya says

Everyone looks at her. "What." Freya ask "you remember being three years old." Logan ask

"I'm Asgardian, I'm more enhanced then an average human." Freya says "yeah we knew that, but we didn't think you could remember that far back, your a fossil." Maria says

Fury holds back a laugh, but he pauses, What's an Asgardian. And how old is she that it was so shocking.

Vers eyes were wide. "Your Asgardian." Vers says, Vers relaxes a little. "Okay I need you to prove that and then your in the clear." Vers says

"Whats this even about." Freya ask

"Skrulls." Vers says

Freya's eyes widen. But Skrulls were harmless, they never liked the fight.

But if there causing her daughter problems, she'll do anything to get her daughter back and safe.

Freya thinks, what can she do to prove to her daughter that she isn't a Skrull, but she hasn't used her power for centuries.

She can do one thing. The one thing she hates about herself, the one thing that stayed with her.

Freya lets her eyes shift black.

Fury and Maria stumble back in fear. Vers and Logan's eyes only widen in shock.

"Skrulls can't do that." Freya says

Vers nods. Vers then looks to Logan who sighs and brings his fist up and shows his claws.

Only Fury was shocked this time. Vers nods. "Okay their good." Vers says

Freya wanted to hug her daughter but, but she clearly didn't remember her and that shook something in her.

It was to close to Loki and she can't believe she had to deal with it for a second time.

Her eyes water at the thought of her first born but she shakes her head, clearing her head.

Suddenly Fury draws his weapon and aims it towards a voice, Vers' hands light up and Maria stands there confused.

Freya tenses, while Logan unsheathes his claws.

"Hello earthens." Talos says

Talos takes a sip of the milkshake he is holding while Carol begins to advance towards him, her hands glowing more now.

"Now, hang on a second, before you go swinging those jazz hands around, making a mess in your friend's house - and... it's a lovely home." Talos says

"Oh my God. What the hell?" Maria ask

Maria is staring out the window, looking at herself playing with Monica.

Freya's eyes darken. He was threatening her granddaughter. Freya's fist tighten into a fist, her hands begin glowing.

Freya was oblivious to power she was emitting, but it simmers down when Logan presses a hand at her back.

He noticed.

"No one's gonna hurt the girl. Just, don't kill me. That would really complicate the situation." Talos says

"I'm about five seconds from complicating that wall with some ugly-ass Skrull brains." Fury says

"I'm sorry I simmed your boss. But now I stand before you as my true self. Without deception." Talos says

"And who is that, out there?" Vers ask

"Okay, that's a fair point. But I'm sure that you understand, I had to take some precautions. I saw you crush 20 of my best men with your hands bound. I just wanna talk." Talos says

"Last time we talked, I ended up hanging from my ankles." Vers says

"That was before I knew who you were. Before I found what made you different from the others. I have an audio recording from Pegasus, of your voice, from a plane crash six years ago. On a device I believe you call a black box." Talos says

"They told me it was destroyed in the crash. How'd you get it?" Maria ask

"Does she not understand? Young lady I have a special skill that kinda allows me to get into places I'm not supposed to be." Talos says

"Call me young lady again, and I'm gonna put my foot in a place it's not supposed to be." Maria says

"Am I supposed to guess where that is?" Talos ask

"Your ass." Fury, Logan and Maria says

"Okay, I get it. We're all a little on edge here. But look, I just need your help decoding some coordinates. If you sit down, you listen to this, I assure you, it'll be worth your while." Talos says

"Call your buddy back inside and I'll listen." Carol says

"Deal." Talos says

Goose walks onto the scene and begins pressing himself against Talos' legs. Talos, surprised jumps backwards.

"Oh my God! Get that thing away! How'd that get in here?" Talos ask

Carol picks up Goose, and holds him out towards Talos. Carol walks towards Talos, with her arms still extended, causing Talos to walk backwards.

"The cat? This isn't what you're afraid of, is it?" Vers ask

"That's not a cat. That's a Flerken." Talos says "A Flerken?" Fury ask

Fury laughs. Freya finally relaxes, eyeing the flerken, she use to have one as a pet but she died early.

Monica walks into the house and sees Maria standing next to Carol and Fury. She looks around and sees the Skrull assuming its true form.

"Mom?" Monica ask
