When the snake boy fell asleep Harry snuck outside waiting for an owl to arrive. He was waiting for the owl that ran into the window the night before. What the boy didn't know is that the blond snake bow was spying on him as the owl arrived and gave Harry a parcel.
In the parcel was a journal that would allow Blaise and Harry to write to each other.
As harry opened the parcel he took out the book and wrote

As Harry finished writing, a scream piercen the night.
Running up the stairs he just avoided snape and dashed into the room where draco had fallen asleep and had a nightmare of the day snape saved him. "Draco '' Harry whispered "You are ok" without thinking he did the one thing that Ron does to help Harry when this happens. He gave draco a hug and reassured him that he was at the potions masters house and he was safe.
