The Prophet (ﷺ) said: I guarantee a house in the surroundings of Paradise for a man who avoids quarrelling even if he were in the right, a house in the middle of Paradise for a man who avoids lying even if he were joking, and a house in the upper part of Paradise for a man who made his character good.

-Five years back-

Sixteen year old Shazin shuffled on her feet, standing outside the principal's office, waiting to be called in. She nervously looked at her wrist watch every five minutes. Making sure nobody spare the receptionist was in sight, she started playing with her fidget spinner.

As soon as she heard footsteps approaching, she hid the spinner back in her pocket.

The person who came in view had his lips busted and mildly bleeding.

"You?"
"You?"

Both of them asked simultaneously, tired of the other. He sighed and walked inside the office, leaving her infuriated.

"Psst! Know that guy?" The new receptionist asked her.

Over the months, Shazin had gotten quite acquainted with the receptionist due to the amount of times she had been called in to the office. They shared a pretty good bond now. Though not in the most ideal of ways, Shazin made quite a few friends this way everywhere she went.

Shazin sighed dramatically.

"Let me tell you a story, Lenora..." She sighed and the receptionist's eyes twinkled in excitement, happy to get away from the boring paperwork.

-2 months earlier-

"Shh! Over here..." Shazin whispered to her friends pointing towards the janitor's closet she was in.

"Ahh! I'm not getting in there," Humaira yelled back aghast.

"Keep it down, will you? ya crazy germophobe!" Hamish replied running to the closet supply.

Humaira grunted and followed her brother and nutty friend to the closet, pulling Samah by the collar, who still had his hand stuck in a box.

Once they were all safely back in the closet, Shazin immediately closed the door behind them, breathing hard in the dark room. They made it just in time to evade the crowd looking for them who rushed past them outside.

"Sammy boy, piece of advice, next time while we are on an escape mission, do not stick your hand in random glittery boxes that looks like it holds candy, okay?" Shazin asked Samah calmly, still trying to catch her breath.

"But I took all the precautions this time,' Samah reassured, "I even shook the box to check if there was anything inside," Samah said half-proud, half-innocently.

"And you think boxes kept locked in the science lab contains chocolates? Shaking isn't enough hon, you do not simply shake boxes from the lab," Shazin cried.

"No! but I can really feel something inside Shaz, I'm telling ya'!" Samah said grinning, his eyes lighting up in excitement.

Shazin gagged at the thought of what could be inside it. She hoped to God it wasn't a dead frog.

"I can't believe I'm stuck in the guck here with three morons! What was I thinking?" Humaira cried.

"Maybe that you could actually have fun for once without worrying over a hundred consequences?" Hamish replied.
