(Jaune's POV)
I still looked at the Gate with awe by these gates that just activated, no doubt that scores of journalists would like to go through this gate and prod about as I heard the sounds of cars pulling over as I looked to see a bunch of people coming out with news equipment, umbrellas, hell, a news chopper came out as it hovered over the Eisenheim.
'Give these guys a nice scoop, they'll flock to it.' I thought as I let out a long, drawn out sigh at the journalists that just decided to bum rush here.
I could somewhat hear the other news teams discussing the portal gate, despite the amount of civilians forming a crowd in front of the policemen and women, keeping order here as I got bored a bit.
I then summoned a Lien Coin and flipped it as I turned to face Erwin as he features were getting soaked in the rain, on instinct alone, I raised my umbrella over his face as I had my hood up.
"Thanks, Jonathan." Erwin said as he thanked me, I nodded to him as the sounds of rain continued pouring as Von Richter looked to both me and my coin.
"Another one of your 'abilities', Watchmaster?" He asked me as I nodded to him
"Yes, sir! I'm just passing the time, Captain. Speaking of which, when are we gonna be going?" I asked Von Richter, another noble, hailing from a military family, just like Erwin and I.
"Within one hour, Watchmaster. We're just waiting for more soldiers and Knights, then we'll proceed with going through the portal." Von Richter said to me in a formal tone as I looked to the sky and saw a couple of choppers and a VTOL, both military swooped in and circled the perimeter as the Dropship slowly landed as the crowd got back a bit as the Dropship opened up as a human in Prussian military garbs went out of the ship, accompanied by two robots.

Once he got out of the Dropship, a number of journalists tried getting close to him, despite being pushed back by the androids and the soldiers.
And as the officer got closer, I was able to get a closer look on his set as I noticed there were a couple of medals and awards on his chest and there was also a prominent badge, for all to see.
