RWBY: Jaune Arc, The Guardian

1K Special Chapter: A Rainy Hunt.

Helix In! I'm back and this is a special chapter for me as this story has reached 1K, and so, this chapter is more so dedicated as a thanks for supporting this story and now, let's get onto it! 

(Jaune's POV) 

(21 years before current time)

It's been about thirty decades since I've been with the Von Hartmanns, and in these three decades, i've learned quite a lot about Caldaris, it's cultures, life, power, etc. 

The universe I suppose, works in strange ways..............

I then placed a stop on that trail of thought as I realized that I spaced out during my reading in the study room, particularly a book about some basic magic and I was in another hoodie I bought that isn't bunny decorated and some casual clothes. 

And let me tell you, it's quite exciting!

Exciting since this is still a new concept to me, I know about Auras and Semblances back on Remnant, but Magic, like, actual bloody Magic! This makes wonder, and especially after I binged watched the RWBY show with Cole, if Ozpin did have Magic, I could imagine him trying to share his magic, but then again, I doubt Remnant's Magic is compatible with Caldarisian magic and in addition to the fact that the Magic that Salem and Ozpin have is quite finite.

Once I finished up reading on a particular spell, I waved the wand that Erwin and his sister Anna gave me when I began my training in magic, and according to Erwin, she's better in magic than Erwin due to his restraint on himself, die to his belief that skill trumps all. I waved the around as a swirl of Arcane Energies spun around it as a silhouette of a sword appeared before me as it turned into a series of swords, dancing across the winds. 

I smiled at this, its merely a simple spell, known by those attuned in magic, but good in the right hands. 

I stared at the small blades as I snapped my fingers as I pointed them to a certain direction as the swords turned to it, then snapped once more as the swords were launched to the direction I pointed to as the swords either bounced off or pierced a wall. 

I then nodded, satisfied with what I did as I went ahead with my Aura training, self-training myself for obvious reasons. 

I closed my eyes for better focus as I felt my Aura manifest itself as I tried making the mini-swords from my Aura. 

I felt my thoughts swirl about my head, ranging from memories of Remnant, some which that I'd rather forget but couldn't, to those on Caldaris. 

Then, I opened my eyes to see a few knives and a sword, made from my Aura as I grabbed one and gave a smile. 

'Alright, it'll take some time, but I believe I can improve with my Semblance.' I thought as I stared at the sword in my hand, while made from the light of my Aura, it still feels real, real enough to pass off as an actual blade. 

"Wow..........." a girl said behind me as I got startled, my Aura blades vanished due to lack of concentration as I turned to face the person that called me. 

"O-ooh! it's you! Sorry, I didn't hear you come in, Annabelle." I said, apologizing to the person behind me as I looked at her as she held a teacup and saucer in her hands. 

"Jaune, just call me Anna, you're part of the family, there's no need for formality!" She said, chiding me for being a bit too proper with her. 

"Sorry, Anna. but what are you doing here?" I asked as she pointed towards the bookshelves here in the room. 

"Pretty obvious here." She said as I gestured her to a chair in the room as she went ahead and picked a book to read as she started sipping on her tea and she pulled out a small notebook with a pencil and began writing on it, indicating it's important. 

'She reminds me a bit of Blake, just that book gig of hers.' I thought as I was reminded a bit on Blake, despite the obvious fact that I don't even talk to her. 

'I swear if that bitch Weiss still tries to look down on me, she'll have something waiting for her.......' I thought with a sinister look as I felt my eyes becoming brighter. 

"Your eyes are glowing!" Anna said as she continued reading her as I fixed myself, awkwardly as I back to reading my spell book. 

"When your a Sorcerer, never be afraid on trying new spells, even those outside of your caliber, Jaune. Magic is just learning life itself, you learn something new, even if it's outside what others say." Anna said to me, giving me some advice regarding magic. 

"Oh and before I forget, Erwin and Emily are gonna get married in a week, just wanted to let you know that, Jonathan." Anna said while reading from her book 

"Oh! Thanks, Anna, now what's going on right now?" I asked as she showed her book, particularly about her school needs, like a . 

"I need to finish these studies and send them to the Academy, so can you like leave, this is important or keep quiet, either I'd appreciate." She said as she stated her reasons as I nodded and kept my mouth shut as I continued learning new spells for my repertoire, a big one at that!

(Timeskip by three minutes brought to you by Jaune practicing magic and YEETING it at the screen, turning it to ashes)

I then left the study room after having a nice reading on Magic as I looked at my wand in a proud look. 

I then went back to my room as I was in thought on, what to do for the day. 

And as I went up, I continued thinking on what I wanted to do for today? 

I then snapped my fingers so loud, it can be heard throughout the mansion.

"THAT'S IT!" I shouted as I felt excited. 

"SHUT UP, PLEASE!" Anna shouted from the study room, 

"SORRY!" I apologized 

'Alright, I'm just gonna go hunting, it couldn't hurt to do so!' I thought as I rushed to my room, placed my stuff except the wand back in my room as I removed any extra clothing, until I had a t-shirt and pants and shoes on and my pendant back on my neck. 

Once I finished, I then went out of my room, going down to the foyer and towards the armory.

I then got to the armory as I opened my locker using my pendant as I removed it and placed it on the scanner as the locker opened up to see my armor, my weapon and some standard weapons.
