Chapter 19- Return to Sender

Helix in! I'm Back! Ok, for this chapter, we're back to the Caldarisian territories and their Gateway. And now, lets get into it. 

(3rd POV)

In the Prussian outpost stationed on Remnant, lies the Gateway, a portal made with powerful and ancient Arcane Energies, what would seem to be magic to the Ancient Remnamites. 

Then, came in another robot that carried precious supplies through the Gateway as to support the Prussians and by extension, the Caldarisians that were on the other side. 

The Prussians gladly accepted their supplies as the robot went back into the portal, done with supplies for the day. 

"Alright, General. That should be it for today, we'll be able to hold out well with our munitions." A manager said to General Schwert as he nodded and walked back to the command room. 

And once he did, received a report from his holotable as he pressed the notification, curious of what his away team have to report.. 

"General, we're making our way back now, ETA: 1 hour, over and out." Was the message The general received as he nodded and sat down on a nearby chair as he looked over his map, as it marked the Prussian/Caldarisian Territories as it also marked the Kingdom of Vacuo as a neutral nation that is aligned with the Caldarisians. 

'Good, we're making some progress beyond, I should check on the news on what's happening.' Schwert thought as he turned the map and began watching the news, particularly on what's happening back in Caldaris. 

And what's happening in Caldaris was that the other countries spared their Gateways had established outposts and transported some outworld resources back to Caldaris, and such resources being analyzed and perhaps will be incorporated into Caldaris' resources. 

"I can only pray to Solaris and Luna to guide our peoples in this time. The time where we might have to fight the ones that have assailed Caldaris." Schwert said to himself in a bit of prayer to both Solaris and Luna, both of which are the deities that Caldaris venerates and worships, each deity is worshiped in different countries, particularly if they're Humans or Vampires. Since Vampires are sometimes called 'Children of the Moon', Humans are known as 'Children of the Sun.' and in Caldarisian history, this spurred religious wars in the name of a respective deity. 

Schwert then continued to watch the news regarding on the countries and what's going on in Prussia, particularly where the scientists have data for the crystals unknown arcane power as the general then checked on a file a researcher sent him as it showed the basic understanding of the crystals that were recovered.

And as the sun began to rise, marking another day for the people of Remnant, the away team to Vacuo has finally arrived back to Prussian outpost as their convoy got inside of the base, with some of these cars almost running out of fuel.  

And as Watchmaster Arc got out of the car, he let out a sigh of relief and one of tiredness, the latter being that the others now know of his secret. 

Jaune kept his origins and previous life a secret with the help of Captain Von Hartmann since he thought that the knights wouldn't believe him and think he's being delusional or had a screw loose in his head. 

Afterwards, he and the other knights and soldiers of the away team went to the armory, to place their weapons back their, except their sidearms of course.

And as they did, Lt. Williams approached Erwin as he looked at the Lieutenant. 

"So, you knew of Arc's Origins?" He asked him as Erwin nodded, no longer needing to keep the secret.
