Ch. 18 island

~Y/n pov~

We were on a boat, heading towards the island.

Koro-sensei was slumped over the railing, suffering from motion sickness.

No one paid any mind to him, all doing their own things.

Everyone was trying out assassination plans in groups on the island, but of course most of them failed.

By the end of the day, Koro-sensei's skin had gone completely black.

He claimed he had a tan, but that's one weird tan.

But then again, he's not human.

Night time fell, and we had one more assassination plan.

Nagisa and a few others lured Koro-sensei into the dome.

I sat on the speedboat with Karma, waiting for the signal.

Karma was driving.

There were already enough people for all the parts so a few of us didn't have anything to do.

Kaede and Rio were also together on another speedboat.

There wasn't really enough room for two people, so I was sat in front of Karma, his chest pressed against my back.

We heard the sound of the octopus' skin being sliced and immediately set off.

Karma chuckled, I felt the vibrations from his chest.

He chuckled more as the building split apart.

The others formed a cage around Koro-sensei, everyone shot at him to distract him.

And then, the sniper came into play.

There was an explosion, and everything turned white.

I shielded my eyes with my hand.

Everyone on the speedboats, pulled up and went to stand on the dock.

Koro-sensei was nowhere to be seen.

Did we do it?

A ball of what looked to be glass bobbed up to the surface and in it was the small head of Koro-sensei.

Everyone stared blankly at it.

The octopus laughed, "This is my ultimate defence form. My body has shrank down to the size it is now, and the condensed molecules create this shell around me. The shell is invincible."

Karma smirked, picking up our teacher and sticking a slug on the shell.

"Since you can't move, it means we can do whatever we want to you and you can't cover your eyes or look away!"

Koro-sensei shrieked in terror as Karma continued to torment him.

Everyone was gloomy after our plan failed.

A waiter came around and gave us some drinks.

I drank a small sip before realising something was wrong.

What is this? Poison?

I noticed people collapsing.

This doesn't really seem like a strong poison though, it's more like bad food poisoning.

I'm slightly immune to weak poisons due to the experimentation.

But after a few hours it will start taking a toll on me.
