"So, they're ghosts?"

"Yup."

"And only you and AJ can see them when you guys are not performing?" Jeremiah says as the band plays 'Wake Up' softly in the background.

"Yup."

"So AJ likes... a ghost?" Amelie glares at her best friend, a blush on her cheeks while everyone just chuckles. "H-how—"

"We don't know." Luke speaks up with a shrug. "It just sort of happened."

"And you three just decided to go with it?" Jeremiah asks, looking at the three girls in disbelief.

"I mean -well- yeah." Amelie says with a shrug, glancing at the boys who smiled at her as she started ad libbing on the violin.

"How are you all so okay with this? I mean, they're ghosts! AJ, he-he's a ghost!" Jeremiah says, making Amelie purse her lips.

"They brought piano back into my life, Miah, they even got Julie to sing again and they knew my mom. I don't know, there's just this connection."

"And have you seen them?" Flynn asks, gesturing to the three ghosts who smirked smugly.

"Yes, Flynn, yes I have." Jeremiah says, rolling his eyes. "But, with everything you guys are saying about this Covington guy, I think you'd be a bit more worried about him going after the girls."

"What are you talking about?"

"He knows that you're in a band with them and since he was the one that was killing you guys, he must know that it's not working anymore—"

"— and to get us back for it, he might mess with AJ and Julie." Alex finishes, looking at the rest of the band with a worried look on his face.

"So, we beat him once, we'll beat him again. Fight together, bright forever, right?" Luke says, making Amelie smile at the reference he made.

"AJ is leaving for New York in months, what if he targets her?" Jeremiah says, folding his arms over his chest with a pointed look on his face.

"I won't let that happen." Luke says, eyebrows furrowed as he looks at Jeremiah in annoyance.

"Yeah, you better not." Jeremiah says, chest puffed out in an intimidating manner.

"Both of you need to calm down." Amelie says, raising her chin from the violin. "I'll be fine, that's a long time for now. We should be focusing on the now."

"Yeah, the now." Luke says, flashing the girl a smile, making her return the gesture.

"God, i'm so single."
