See you, Violet [Color Series #1]

Twenty-three

I'm taking sessions on my therapist for almost a month now. I was actually feeling much better now. My family helps me a lot. Mom would always accompany me every time. My siblings always makes time for me, we had movie night sessions or maybe dine-in on a fancy restaurant or fast food chain every now and then.

Like we had on my birthday. We stayed in Switzerland for almost a week. We had a great time there, eating out and do sight seeing on the best place there.

Then I remember the conversation I had with Ryke about my birthday and how we will spend it. Us having a trip on a place I want to go. I miss him.

He never leave a message or even call me after the last talk we had in our campus. I was really sad but this all my fault right? And I couldn't still see him.

I saw him once on a restaurant with a girl clinging on to  his arms, they are both laughing while talking. I had to hide from them, from him... and it hurts.

Did he move on already? I thought he said that he love me...

It's your fault dummy. I heard my self talking from the back of my mind.

Kinuha ko ang tray sa kwarto ko na pinagkainan ko kanina ng meryenda. Bumaba ako sa kusina para ilagay 'yon ng makita ko si Ginger sa nakaupo sa counter top hawak ang Shih Tzu niya at kinakausap.

"Hi, Violet!" She greeted me waving and her dog gave me a little bark. "Oh, Peanut says hello too!" Ginger giggled.

Lumapit ako para hawakan ang ulo ni Peanut and ngitian ito.

"How are you? You look really good now by the way." She told me and gave me her I-don't have-any-problem kind of smile.

"I'm fine. Happy." I smiled too. "Ikaw? Okay ka lang?"

"Of course. I have to be." She shrugged.

Napatingin kami ng sumulpot si Beige.

"Come on, Ginger. We're going. I don't want to be late."

Nakangiting bumaba si Ginger sa pagkakaupo sa counter top. Lumapit muna sa akin si Kuya para halikan ako sa noo bago hinila si Ginger palabas ng bahay.

Bumalik na ako sa kwarto para ituloy ang research paper ko na ipapasa ko bukas. I look at my phone when it beeped. I saw a message from Kuya Gray.

From: Gray

Do you want to have dinner in Lilacs later?

Sumagot agad ako dahil natakam ako sa steak ng maalala ko ang favorite kong restaurant.

Me:

Yes, kuya :)

Nagreply naman agad siya.

From: Gray

Okay. I'll pick you up at 6pm. It's a date wear something nice.

Napangiti ako. Kuya Gray sometimes take me or Mint on a date but Mint's not here now, she's in her retreat in Batangas.

When afternoon arrived. I took a nice shower, blow dry my hair, make it in a soft curls and put a little make up just to emphasize my features. I decided to wear a white thin strap dress and Silver pumps.

"Hi Beautiful." Kuya Gray greeted me. He was wearing a white dress shirt, the three button was open and a black slack. Galing pa siyang office, nagpapart time na kasi siya sa Company namin. Studying and Learning how to operate dahil siya na ang mag manage after graduation.
