Fred Weasley, forever the charmer. Not only did he arrive perfectly on time for our date, he showed up with a gift as well. That gift turned out to be brownies he and his mother had made from the recipe I gave them. He had went to visit his parents after we said goodnight to each other because he needed their help to make this the perfect date. He helped his mom make the brownies while telling her all about me, apparently she was overjoyed that he had found someone so nice for himself. After that he went to his dad, asking him for muggle money because he wanted to take me somewhere that was special and new. The entire date was perfect.

We went to a little muggle restaurant by a lake, the lights shining on the water and the soft music in the air. It made everything feel so special, but what made it the best was the way he looked at me the entire time. He looked at me like I was the only person there other than himself. It was the most amazing date I had ever been on. We even got desert for ourselves. Brownies. He said the were nothing compared to mine but they were still good. I couldn't tell if he was simply flattering me or if he was serious. Of course he insisted on paying, though he needed my help figuring out the muggle money. After we paid he asked if there was anything that I wanted to do while we were there, I answered so fast he asked if I had read his mind.

"A boat ride." Was what I answered. "A boat ride? Are you sure?" He seemed so confused with my answer. I laughed and gathered my things as we got up to leave. "Yes I'm sure. You and I are going to go on a tourist boat ride, have people explain to us what is around us and how it's all historical, and then we are going to just look at it all and take in how wonderful it is." He just smiled at me and took my hand, lacing our fingers together. "Well my dear lead the way to this magnificent boat ride then."

The boat ride was magnificent as he said. We stood against the railing next to one of the speakers so we could hear everything the pre programed tour guide was saying, and we pointed out things to each other that we thought was cool. Occasionally Fred would lean over and whisper in my ear how he thought it was rubbish that everything around us was muggle work and that 'there's no way some of this isn't the work of magic'. We would also point out strangers we saw and tried to do a dramatic reenactment of what we thought their conversations were about. The best part of the boat ride was the end. There was a small little gift shop for the tour and when we got there I could swear he bought just about one of everything there. He spent every last piece of muggle money he had, saying he promised his dad some muggle souvenirs. Seeing the joy on his face gave me butterflies.

"They have tiny figurines of all the things we saw! Isn't that amazing?" He was holding a tiny phone booth in his hand, eyes gleaming with excitement. "Oh and this one," He put the figurine away and pulled out a snow globe of the London skyline, shaking it so the snow would move around. "This one is brilliant! How do they come up with this? It's not as good as some of the things George and I sell but for them it's pretty amazing." His smile and laughter overwhelms me with such happiness, I can't hold back. "Hey Fred?" I said, getting his attention as he put the snow globe back in the gift bag. "Yeah?" Once his eyes meg mine I leaned forward and gave him a quick peck on the lips. "This has been the most amazing date I've ever been on. Thank you." His smile was so goofily happy I couldn't help but giggle at it, his cheeks were dusted pink and he was looking at me the same way he was when we started this date. Like I was the only person in the world.

"Well I will gladly take you on a million more if it means you'll kiss me like that again every time." My face was very visibly red, anyone could see it, and I could tell I had that same goofily happy grin. "Then I will gladly go on a million more dates with you Fred Weasley." I don't know if it was possible for him to look any happier than he did right then but he managed it. He put his gift bags down and cupped both of my cheeks, both of us leaning in for another kiss. This one was longer, it was soft and sweet and absolutely perfect.

"You taste like brownies." I laughed in response. I had almost forgotten that was the last thing we ate. "So do you." He smiled at me and bent down to pick up his gift bags. "Speaking of brownies I believe we have some waiting for us back at your shop." I looped my arm into his as we began walking. "I believe we do."

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
We arrived back at my shop and we sat on one of the couches I had. The two of us cuddled together in a comfortable silence simply eating our brownies. Fred had finished his before me and he placed a kiss on the top of my head. Clearing his throat after a sip of milk he spoke up. "Alright give me your verdict, how does is taste? As good as yours?" I swallow my last bite and take a sip of my milk as well. "Can hardly tell the difference. I'm sure if I had to pick them blindly I wouldn't be able to tell which was which." I turned my head to face him and gave him a small peck on the cheek. "You did well with these." He smiled in return. "Well I learned from the best." He smiled and held me closer to him. I could feel his heart beat and hear his breathing. It was so soothing I could feel my eyes slipping closed. My head on his chest and his arms around me, the two of us sitting there just felt so right. "Thank you for the perfect date, Fred." Was the last thing I whispered before falling asleep. I could feel him kiss my head and adjust the two of us so I was more comfortable. We both fell asleep on that couch, it was the best sleep I'd had in a long time.
The next thing I knew I was woken up to the sounds of someone tapping on glass. I opened my eyes and adjusted to what was going on only to see George with a cocky grin on his face tapping on my store window. He was giving me wiggly eyebrows through the glass and then proceeded to make kissy faces. I shook my head and turned my attention to waking up Fred. It took a moment but he finally moved his head with a big yawn and opened his eyes a little bit, only noticing me. "Mmmm what's happening?" I laughed slightly, though it ended up turning into a small yawn. "Your business partner is here." I gestured to the window where George was now giving his brother a very enthusiastic double thumbs up. Fred swatted his hand in his brother's direction and pulled me back to him so I was no longer sitting up. "He can piss off, we are still technically on a date." I couldn't help but blush at his statement, though sadly I had to sit myself back up again. "Well sadly our date must come to an end. I have to open my shop soon and it seems you have to open yours as well." He grunted and lifted himself into a sitting position as well, placing a kiss to my temple. "I suppose all good things must come to an end at some point my dear. But believe me when I say that our next date will be even better." Just the thought gave me a giddy smile. "I look forward to it then."
Fred made his way to the door, stretching and trying to wake himself up more along the way. Smiling he turned to me. "Until later then, Y/N." I smiled back and stood up from the couch. "Until later then, Fred."
