James POV
1-19-2015
"Emma?" I said, "Emma, it's me, James."
Her almost black eyes fluttered open.
"What happened?"
"Emma, how are you feeling?"
"Ow, my head."
"Here they brought you some medicine. Do you want a water?"
"Wh- who are you? And where am I?"
I was pouring a glass of water.
"Ha ha, Emma very funny."
"Look, I don't know who you are but can you please explain what's happening?"
"You don't remember me?"
"No. I'm sorry," she said.
I was walking towards her with the water. The look in her eyes. She didn't remember me. The glass shattered on the floor.
"Oh my gosh. Should I help?" She asked.
"No. I'm sorry," I said backing away from her bed.
"Wait. For what?"
"For being so forgettable," I said as I retreated to my bedroom and locking out the world.
Cody.
Grace.
Emma.
Nothing mattered now.
