Iftia: Royal Palace, Conference Hall

Naailah

"The Second Prince's Consort, Naailah Alvraz-Nouraei, entering the Conference Hall." The guard standing outside announced before the large doors were pushed opened to reveal the heavy pressure within.

Naailah walked through the entrance and quickly turned towards the right end of the hall, where blue swept across that half of the room. Her intentions were made clear since the very first day she arrived in Iftia that she would stand by her father's choice. As the Second Prince's Consort and as the Second Princess of Rivia, she would support Rowan as the supposed heir to the throne and this was also a choice that Matthias backed her up with. It was a decision made by the pair to make a point to the Queen that Matthias refused to fight for the throne and she refused to let this woman reign over her husband.

"Naailah." Silvestra's voice echoed through the hall, saying her name in a cautionary tone. "Are you sure you would want to stand on that side of the faction?"

"I think I've made my point clear from the very start, Your Majesty," Naailah said curtly. Even when she was often regarded as drawn back and quiet, she was definitely not a pushover. If anyone thought that they could command her around, she naturally had her own ways to prove them wrong. She was not only the Second Prince's Consort, but she also represented the royal bloodline and her home Kingdom of Rivia. Squaring her shoulders and standing taller, she turned to face the Queen and declared in an unwavering tone, "My loyalty and respect are earned, not demanded."

"Really?" The Queen scoffed, a mocking smile drew across her face. "We shall see how long you can stay haughty, my daughter-in-law."

Thethia: Royal Palace, Library

Queen of Thethia, Elizabeth

Elizabeth rested by the large, opened window in the library, enjoying the temperate breeze of spring that contained vestiges of winter, yet also the promises of warmth. With a book in hand, her gaze followed through the beautiful lines of words on yellowed pages. It was a peaceful afternoon in the quietude of the library as the winds and words embraced her in their hold.

Fallen blush petals had also snuck their way through the windows, littering the window seat and library floor with their vibrancy. She watched with delight as one petal landed on the tip of her thumb and an idea struck her.

Iftia was too cold to enjoy spring with a kaleidoscope of blossoms and with that in mind, she thought about pressing some flowers so that she could send them over to Elianna. The thought excited her and she quickly closed the book in her hands, resting it on the wide ledge of the window before tugging the stole higher up on her shoulders and hopped off the seat.
