This story tells the desire to conquer, love, and never die.
After my High School Graduation, I went on vacation to Israel. I visited Akko Fortress, a crusader fortress built and inhabited by the Knights Hospitallers, a medieval Catholic military order (like the Knights Templar).
"The Wolf and the Snake" project was born in these magical places. I made some sketches, scribbled down a few ideas, and then returned to France to start my graduate studies. The project was asleep in my suitcases, and I worked a lot (mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, nothing to do with literature, lol). Finally, about two years ago, I had more time to write while continuing my studies.
"The Wolf and the Snake" consists of six books:
The Physician's Daughter
The Blood of Heroes
The Capetian Prince
The Wolf's Fate
The Devil's Son
The Enchantress
Whether I write "The Wolf and the Snake" in English or French, I tell myself I'm too young and inexperienced for this project. Then I think back to Akko and the emotions I felt there, like memories of past life or ghosts from the past.
