First session

"YOU can wait outside," my physical therapist told Bellamy.

I grabbed Bellamy's shirt and forced a smile in front of my physical therapist. "I need him to be here," I said, waiting for my physical therapist's response.

Ang alam ko kasi, 'yong iba ay hindi talaga pinapayagan na may kasama sa loob, pero siguro naman pinapayagan din 'yong iba.

"Alright," he said, pointing the sofa at the corner. "You can sit there," he told Bellamy.

"You can let go now, Keen. You're almost going to tear my shirt." Bell chuckled, shaking his head.

Napabitaw tuloy ako bigla sa dulo ng shirt niya at inirapan siya.

"You can call me Dr. Andy. My father was your surgeon, and now I'm taking your case as your physical therapist," he introduced himself, flashing me a wide smile.

"You look young for a doctor," pagbibiro ko.

Agad siyang natawa. "I'm actually 30."

Nanlaki ang mata ko. "Really? I thought you were just 25," pagsasabi ko ng totoo kaya mas lalo siyang natawa.

"Your boyfriend would probably kill me, Rara. Stop flirting," he joked.

"I'm single, Doc!" I retorted.

His eyes widened, glancing at Bellamy who's now raising a brow at him.

"I'm not her boyfriend. I'm today's replacement for her dickhead boyfriend who stood her up. So, what does it make me? Her nanny," he stated, shrugging obnoxiously.

Ugh. Everything that comes out from his mouth is freaking annoying!

"Hindi ko boyfriend si Gonz!" reklamo ko.

"Ah. Oo nga pala. He's your best friend." He paused, intently staring at me. "Piece of advice, Keen. It's either you stay as friends forever, or you end up having sex with each other. Your choice," he smirked, crossing his arms above his chest.

I closed my eyes in frustration. "You know what, Bell? I'm starting to regret coming here with you!"

"Fine, fine. I'll stop. I was just trying to divert your attention to me in case you're nervous about your first therapy," he said, flashing me a smile.

I was stunned by what he just said. I didn't know that he's that kind of person. Trying to cheer up someone he had never been friends with. Now I can see that he was really sincere with everything he said to me.

Tulad ng sabi niya, tumigil na siya kakaasar sa 'kin at nanatiling tahimik na nakaupo doon sa isang sulok.

Dr. Andy started discussing the process of rehabilitation I'll have to undergo.

Tinanong niya rin ako kung gaano na 'ko katagal gumagamit ng saklay, and sinabi ko sa kanya na one month na simula no'ng surgery.

Pinagalitan niya pa nga ako no'ng una dahil bakit pinatagal ko daw ng sobra 'yong paggamit ng saklay. Dapat nga raw ay ten days after surgery ay sinanay ko na raw maglakad nang walang gamit na suporta.

Minsan ay napapalingon ako kay Bellamy habang kausap ko si Dr. Andy, pero tahimik lang siya doon habang abala sa phone niya.

Mahina akong natawa. Malamang may kausap na namang babae 'yan. Sino naman kayang bago niya? Napakadami niya naman kasing babae, akala mo mauubusan palagi, eh.
