Fairy Tail One Shots (x Reader)

Rogue x OC

"Sasuki! Wake up!" I groaned and rolled over in my bed, holding the pillow tightly against my head.

"Moonlight, go away." I said groggily as I swatted at the small exceed who flew overhead. Laughing, he swooped down and pulled on my hair, leaving me no choice but to get up. As I got up to get dressed, I shot a glare at Moonlight who shrugged and flew towards the living room.

After I picked out my outfit, a gold crop top with silver shorts, I decided to try to fix my hair. Finally, I had managed to tame the wild strands and now the white hair with light blue streaks was flowing gracefully down my back. Checking my appearance once more, I nodded, slipped on my converse, and ran out of the house towards Saber.

"Why are we up so early?" I asked as I noticed most of the shops weren't even opened yet.

"No reason~" Midnight sang which was never a good sign. Brushing it off, I pushed opened the heavy guild doors and jumped back as everyone yelled out at me.

"SURPRISE!" Everyone shouted as I held my chest as I had to comprehend what was happening.

"What's going on!?" I yelled back and Yukino ran up and grabbed my wrist.

"It's been one year since you joined Sabertooth Sasuki." She smiled and I did as well as I realized what they were doing.

"Wow guys, thank you." I said as a small line of tears filled my eyes. Sting stepped forward and placed his arm around Yukino's shoulder as he spoke to me.

"If you wanna thank anyone, thank Rogue. He's the one who planned the majority of this." He whispered and I blushed profusely as he winked and Yikino giggled. I pushed past those two and made my way inside the guild to celebrate.

"Sasuki-chan!" Lector called as he and Frosch ran over, drawing my attention away from Orga's singing. "Happy anniversary!"

"Aw thank you guys." I smiled and knelt down to hug the small cats and they laughed lightly.

"You should go see Rogue, he is the one who came up with this."

"Fro thinks so too!" Lector smirked and Frosch smiled. I looked behind them to see Sting smiling just as wide as ever as he saw my face flush.

"Stupid Sting."I stood up and grumbled as the cats hopped back to him, proud that they completed their task. I knew I shouldn't have told him about my stupid crush, because ever since then he tries to embarrass me in anyway he can.

Once my face cooled down I went over to the bar, ordered a few drinks and started to have a little more fun.

"Sasuki-Chan!" Yukino called out and dragged me to the pool area, where all the dancers were, obviously, dancing.

"Yukino... I don't wanna."

"Yes you do!" She scolded and dragged me into the large crowd of people. As we went further into the crowd Yukino's grip loosened and I panicked once I lost sight of the white-haired woman.

"Sting! Get back here you idiot!" I heard a familiar voice say. Turning around I saw raven black hair that was pulled into a small ponytail and crimson eyes that held hatred for his blonde friend. Swallowing the lump in my throat, I walked up to tap his shoulder, causing the dragon slayer to jump back. All the hate left his eyes and was replaced with an emotion I've never seen him hold as his cheeks turned a very, almost unnoticeable, light pink.

"You get lost too?" I asked and he nodded as he searched the crowd for Sting. I nodded as I had now fully understood the situation. "Wanna get out of here?" He nodded again, throwing a disgusted face as someone rubbed up against him.

We weaved our way through the people and finally made it back to the main hall.

"Oh, um, happy anniversary Sasuki." Rogue said once it was quiet enough I could hear. "I should've told you sooner but I couldn't find you." I smiled at his once again pink cheeks and nodded.

"Thank you Rogue. And thank you for throwing this party." His cheeks darkened and eyes widened before he turned away and cleared his throat. He uttered a 'no problem' and walked to the bar, so I followed.

"Really?"

"Yep, he made me follow him into the cave and then left me to handle the monster." I couldn't help but laugh as Rogue went on about Sting. "He can be such an idiot sometimes, but he is my best friend I suppose." He smiled and continued to drink, making him much more talkative.

After another hour, the party died down and Rogue offered to walk me home since Midnight was going to stay longer. We walked through the town, the lacrima bulbs lighting our way back. The walk was quiet but not awkward, enjoying each other's company.

As my house appeared in the distance I had silently wished that I lived further so I could spend more time with him.

"Well, looks like we're here." He said and stopped in front of the steps that lead to the door.

"Yep." I sighed and stopped. The silence between us grew long and I couldn't help but feel a little awkward. "I guess I should head inside and get ready for bed. I'll see you tomorrow." I smiled and went to grab the handle but was pulled back as Rogue grabbed my arm.

"Wait." I turned around once he released me and he scratched his neck with a light blush peaking through his bangs. "I.. I don't know if it's the beer talking or me finally working up this courage, but Sasuki..." He took a deep breath as mine got caught in my throat. It was suddenly so hard to breathe. "I was wondering if you would like to go out to dinner tomorrow night."

I stopped and stared as I relived that over and over again. My mind had gone completely blank and I had no idea how to respond without looking like an idiot.

"Um.. Sasuki? You there?" Rogue steeped forward and knocked me out of my daydream by waving his hand in front of me.

"Huh? Oh! Sorry about that." I laughed awkwardly and placed my hands behind my back. Rogue nodded and looked around, signaling he was waiting for my answer. "Oh, um.. I'd love to."

He stopped looking around and met my eyes. As my cheeks heated up as did his. He cleared his throat and nodded. "Alright, then I'll see you tomorrow." He stated and stood there as I laughed. I walked up and kissed his cheek before walking back to my door.

"Yes Rogue, I'll see you tomorrow." His face was low a right red as he turned around and headed back to his apartment. I laughed and went inside, nothing but the feeling of butterflies in my stomach.

What? Is this an update? Yes it is! I know I have been royally sucking at this lately, but I have been completely unmotivated so if you guys have any tips to help with that please let me know! I'm sorry I it's kinda bleh or has a lot of typos, I just wanted to post something.
