Quinn didn't end up hearing from Noah much in the weeks leading up to Christmas. He had texted her a few times, and she knew he was busy, but still.

Quinn was glad she had Finn around. He was a good roommate. He kept her distracted from everything and focused on Christmas, and he and Quinn transformed their apartment into a winter wonderland complete with stockings and a real Christmas tree.

"This place looks great." Finn noted.

"Yeah, too bad you won't be here on Christmas to enjoy it." Quinn said as she joined Finn on the couch.

"You and Puck will." Finn pointed out.

"If he's still coming." Quinn nodded.

"Why wouldn't he come?" Finn wondered.

"Well, he's been busy with work." Quinn shrugged. "Which is fine, I get it. I'm the one who told him to go back to L.A. so he could get everything done."

Finn nodded slowly. "He'll be here. Honestly, I've never seen him like this before really."

"Like what?" Quinn wondered as she looked at Finn.

"So focused and driven." Finn answered. "He cares about you a lot."

"He cares about the baby." Quinn corrected Finn.

"Yeah, but he cares about you." Finn told Quinn. "Trust me. I've known Puck a long time."

Quinn smiled slightly.

Finn smiled back. "Well, we had a busy day of decorating the apartment. What do you say we order food and watch a movie?"

"Sure." Quinn nodded. "I'll call for pizza."

"I'll pick a movie."

-

"What the hell are you doing?"

"Shhh." Finn hushed Rachel. "You're gonna wake up Quinn."

Quinn slowly opened her eyes and picked her head up. She blinked sleepily as she looked at Finn and Rachel.

Rachel looked mad and Finn looked like he was trying to keep her calm.

"What's going on?" Quinn mumbled.

"What's going on is I don't like you laying on my boyfriend." Rachel responded.

"Rachel." Finn scolded.

"So you're on her side?" Rachel questioned Finn.

"It's not like that." Finn replied. "Quinn fell asleep. We were watching a movie."

"You told me you were working late." Rachel stated. "You lied to me."

"Well, we were working. We were putting up the rest of the Christmas stuff." Finn explained.

Rachel folded her arms and looked at Quinn.

"Can we talk about this another time? Privately?" Finn requested as he got up.

"No, we should talk about it now." Rachel said. "The three of us."

"Rachel, we're friends." Finn told Rachel. "You're blowing this up for no reason."

"Quinn, anything to add?" Rachel asked.

"Finn and I are friends." Quinn nodded. "We've sort of established a brother/sister relationship."

Rachel raised her eyebrow, wanting to hear more.

"Besides, Noah and I..." Quinn trailed off.

"Noah and you what?" Rachel demanded.

"Noah and I are having a baby." Quinn answered as she stood up. "I'm not interested in Finn or really anyone right now because I'm trying to handle everything I'm going through. Finn's just being a decent friend to me and Noah and checking in on me."

Rachel didn't say anything. She looked from Quinn to Finn then back to Quinn.

"Excuse me." Quinn muttered as she walked out of the apartment.
