A few days after Christmas, Noah headed back to L.A. to work. Finn was staying in Ohio with Rachel and their families for New Year's, which Quinn ended up spending alone. She was so exhausted, she didn't even manage to stay up until midnight.

The good thing about January was that Quinn entered her second trimester so she started feeling less nauseous and sick.

Finn returned to New York about halfway through the month.

"Hey, Finn." Quinn greeted her roommate when he returned.

"Hey." Finn said. "You look good. How do you feel?"

"I'm good." Quinn nodded. "How was Ohio?"

"It was good." Finn answered. "Rachel and I got engaged so we spent the extra time there planning our wedding. She wants to get married in the spring."

"Wow, congratulations." Quinn said as she hugged Finn. "I'm happy for you. Spring is right around the corner though."

"Thank you." Finn smiled as they parted. "Yeah, she said mid-May. I told her we should wait and do it next year instead."

"Well, I'll only be eight months pregnant in May so if I'm invited, I'll be there." Quinn promised.

"Of course you'll be invited." Finn replied. "Puck, too."

Quinn nodded.

"Have you guys talked?" Finn wondered.

"Yeah, we talk about my appointments and that's basically it." Quinn said as she and Finn sat down on the couch. "So I wanna hear how you asked Rachel to marry you. Did you have it all planned out or did you do it spontaneously?"

"I've been planning to marry her since high school, but asking her this time was kind of spontaneous." Finn explained. "We visited our old school and went to all of our different spots there and in town, and I asked her at dinner at the end of the day."

"I'm so happy for you." Quinn said. "I know Noah said you've been in love with her for so long."

"Yeah." Finn nodded. "Thank you."

"Hey, Finn!"

"Yeah?" Finn called back.

"We're halfway through January." Quinn stated as she entered the living room. "You never asked me for rent money for January."

"Oh." Finn said. "Well, January's taken care of."

"What does that mean?" Quinn asked.

"It means don't worry about it. We'll talk when February comes up." Finn clarified.

"You can't just not charge me rent." Quinn stated. "I don't want you paying double. Let me pay for my half."

"It's taken care of. Just leave it." Finn requested.

"How is it taken care of?" Quinn asked.

"Just leave it." Finn repeated. "Okay? Don't worry about it."

"Did Noah give you money?" Quinn wondered.

Finn looked at Quinn.

"He did, didn't he?" Quinn questioned Finn. "He shouldn't have done that."

"It's not that big a deal." Finn shrugged. "He said you guys were figuring things out and he offered."

"It's not up to you and him to control my finances." Quinn stated. "It's my apartment and I can afford it."

"He just wanted to help out." Finn said. "He feels bad."

"I don't want anyone feeling bad for me." Quinn shook her head. "Now if you'll excuse me, I need to go make a phone call."
