Quinn got in the passenger seat of the car and looked at Noah in the driver's seat. Neither of them could stop smiling.
"I know I said I didn't care if it was a boy or a girl." Noah began as he started driving. "But I'm really excited that it's a girl."
"Me, too." Quinn agreed.
"What do you wanna name her?" Noah wondered, glancing at Quinn as he gently put his hand on her belly.
"I don't know yet." Quinn said. "All I know is that I want her to have your last name."
"My last name?" Noah repeated.
"Yeah, she's a Puckerman so she should have your name." Quinn stated. "As long as you want her to."
"I do." Noah nodded. "Thank you, Q."
Quinn smiled as she put her hands over Noah's.
"We should celebrate." Noah stated.
"Yeah." Quinn nodded. "What do you wanna do?"
"We can call your mom and my mom and Jake and Sarah, and then we can go out to dinner." Noah suggested. "If you're up to it."
"Sounds perfect." Quinn smiled. "We have to call Finn and Santana, too."
"Yeah." Noah smiled back. He continued driving until they reached the Puckerman Palace.
When they got there, Noah parked and got out first. He opened Quinn's door and took her hand, gently helping her out of the car.
"Thank you." Quinn smiled.
"Come here." Noah said, cupping Quinn's cheeks as he kissed her. "I'm really excited about this."
"I'm excited, too." Quinn nodded when they parted. "Let's go get the phone calls out of the way so we can celebrate."
"Okay." Noah nodded back. He took Quinn's hand and led her inside, pausing at the front door.
"What?" Quinn asked.
"Why don't you go inside?" Noah suggested, looking out into the street. "I need a cigarette."
"I'll go call my mom." Quinn decided as she headed inside.
"Hi, Quinn." Melody smiled.
"Hi, Mel." Quinn smiled back. "Noah will be in in a minute. I need to make a phone call."
"Sure, honey." Melody nodded.
Quinn walked into the living room and dialed her mother's number. She peeked through the blinds and watched Noah as her phone started ringing.
Judy answered on the fourth ring. "Hello?"
"Hi, Mom. It's me." Quinn said. "I know you're mad at me and I know you're not Noah's biggest fan, but I wanted you to be the first one we told the news to."
"What news?" Judy asked.
"The baby's a girl." Quinn informed her mother.
"Congratulations, Quinny." Judy said. "I'm happy for you both."
"Thank you." Quinn replied. "We're happy, too."
Judy didn't say anything.
"Maybe you could come visit soon." Quinn suggested. "Pretty soon I won't be able to fly, so..."
"Yeah, we'll work something out." Judy promised.
"Good." Quinn said as Noah entered the house. "I'll talk to you soon."
"Talk to you soon." Judy echoed.
Quinn hung up the phone and looked at Noah. "Hey. What was that about?"
"Nothing." Noah shook his head. "I'm gonna go call my family and then we can call Finn and Santana together?"
