Quinn couldn't take her eyes off of the baby, even when she and Noah were alone with her in recovery.
"Quinn." Noah said softly as he stood beside the hospital bed.
"Sorry." Quinn apologized, looking at Noah. "Do you wanna hold her?"
"Y-Yeah." Noah stuttered as he gently took the baby. He cradled her and smiled as she wrapped her hand around his finger. "Look, Q."
Quinn smiled. "She likes you."
Noah nodded. "She's perfect. She looks just like you."
"Her smile is yours." Quinn said. "She's definitely a Puckerman."
"Which means we have a lot of work to do." Noah noted.
"You're not so bad." Quinn told Noah.
Noah smiled as he looked back at Quinn. He carefully placed the baby back into Quinn's arms.
"Wanna go get your mom and Santana?" Quinn suggested. "I'm sure they wanna see the baby before she goes to the nursery."
"Sure." Noah nodded. "And then you need to get some rest."
"Yeah." Quinn agreed as she looked at Noah.
"I'll be right back." Noah promised as he left the room.
Quinn looked at the baby in her arms and waited for Noah to return.
A few moments later, Santana entered the room with Ruth behind her.
"Quinn, oh my god!" Santana exclaimed happily.
"Shhh." Quinn said. "Come see her."
Santana and Ruth walked over to the hospital bed to see the baby.
"She's beautiful." Santana smiled. "Congratulations."
"Thank you." Quinn smiled. "And thank you both for being here. Where did Noah go?"
"He's dealing with some work thing." Santana answered. "Can I hold her?"
"A work thing? Now?" Quinn asked.
"Yeah, there's paparazzi outside and he's making phone calls and yelling at the nurses." Santana replied.
Quinn looked at Ruth.
"I'll go get him." Ruth nodded. "And when I come back, I want a proper introduction to my granddaughter."
"You got it." Quinn nodded back as Ruth walked away.
Santana looked at Quinn. "Can I hold her?"
"Yeah." Quinn said. "Come here."
Santana gently scooped the baby up and held her. "Hi, tiny. I'm your godmother. Your Aunty Tana."
Quinn smiled.
"How do you feel?" Santana asked, glancing at Quinn before giving all of her attention back to the baby. "Puck said you were amazing in the delivery room."
"I don't know about that, but she's here and she's healthy and perfect." Quinn noted. "I'm exhausted, but none of that matters right now."
"I can't believe you're a mom." Santana smiled.
"Me neither." Quinn said as Ruth and Noah returned.
"Sorry about that." Noah apologized as he stood by Quinn's side and took her hand. "I don't want anybody bothering my girls. Did you introduce Santana to Beth?"
-
After Ruth held Beth, Noah kicked them out so Quinn could rest.
"Finn, Jake, Sarah, and your mom are all on their way." Noah told Quinn. "If you want, we can put the baby in the nursery so you can sleep until they get here."
Quinn didn't answer. She was too distracted smiling happily at the baby.
"What are you thinking about?" Noah wondered.
"I'm just taking all of this in." Quinn stated. "I can't believe she's here."
"You were incredible in there." Noah told Quinn.
"I'm just glad you made it." Quinn said. "I couldn't have done it without you."
"You could've." Noah insisted. "But thanks for letting me be a part of this."
"Isn't it crazy to think that nine months ago, we didn't even know each other?" Quinn asked.
Noah smiled. "I love you, Quinn."
Quinn picked her head up and looked at Noah.
"I fell in love with you the second I saw you in that bar." Noah said. "And I fell more in love with you in that delivery room today."
Quinn smiled and took a deep breath. "I love you, too."
