"Today was a good day." Noah noted as he and Quinn climbed into his bed at the end of the night.

"Yeah." Quinn said, curling up with Noah and holding his hands while his arms draped over her.

"I'm really excited about the baby." Noah said as he gently rubbed Quinn's belly. "We can start the nursery and come up with some names."

"Yeah." Quinn muttered.

"Are you excited?" Noah asked.

"I'm excited." Quinn answered. "And terrified."

"Terrified? Of what?" Noah wondered.

"Labor and delivery, having a baby, being a mom." Quinn shrugged. "What if I'm not good at it?"

"You're gonna be great at all of it." Noah promised. "And we'll figure it out together."

"I just don't wanna screw her up." Quinn said. "I wanna set a good example for her."

"We're not gonna screw her up. She's gonna be fine and you're gonna be fine." Noah responded. "I'm gonna have the best doctors and nurses there for you and her, and I'll get you whatever hospital room you want, and you're gonna be fine."

"I'm scared." Quinn stated. "Of all of it. Aren't you scared?"

"I'm not." Noah shook his head. "Because I have you and you're gonna be amazing. I know you are."

Quinn tightened her grip on Noah's hands.

"We love her so much already." Noah pointed out. "And you've sacrificed so much for her."

Quinn nodded slowly.

"I'm gonna be a good dad." Noah promised. "I won't be like my dad or your dad. I'm gonna be there to love her and protect her no matter what. And I'm never gonna walk away from either of you."

"I'm not worried about you, Noah." Quinn assured him. "I know you're gonna be good."

"And so are you." Noah insisted. "Now get some sleep, babe. We can talk more tomorrow."

"Okay." Quinn said. "I'm sorry we didn't get to go out to dinner tonight. Maybe tomorrow?"

"Yeah, maybe." Noah repeated. "Night, Q. Night, baby Q."

"Night, Noah."
