When Quinn landed in L.A., she got a car to Noah's house. When she got there, she grabbed her bags and walked up to the gate.
Quinn furrowed her eyebrow as she looked at the huge house with the tall gates. The gates were open and inviting, but it still felt like trespassing.
Quinn walked up to the front door and rang the doorbell.
A few minutes later, the door opened and Noah stood there.
"Quinn?" Noah said. "What are you doing here?"
"You love L.A., so I figured I'd come surprise you and check it out." Quinn said. "Maybe see you in action at work."
Noah nodded slowly.
"I hope that's okay." Quinn added.
"Yeah, of course." Noah replied. "I'm really glad you're here, Q. Come inside. I'll put your bags away."
"Thanks." Quinn said as she stepped into the house.
"You must be tired from the flight." Noah noted, piling Quinn's bags in the foyer.
"I'll be okay for a full tour of the Puckerman Palace." Quinn replied.
"Don't call it that." Noah laughed, shaking his head as he took Quinn's hand. "Come on."
-
"Noah, can I sleep in here?" Quinn asked as she sleepily stood in the doorway of Noah's room at the end of the night.
"Yeah, we can switch if you want." Noah offered.
"No, I meant with you." Quinn clarified.
Noah nodded as he pulled the blankets back. "Come here."
"Your house is huge. And beautiful. No wonder you don't wanna come live in New York." Quinn noted as she climbed into bed and curled up next to Noah.
"I like New York." Noah shrugged. "But I love L.A. I like the heat."
"Yeah." Quinn nodded, pausing for a moment. "So when am I gonna meet your siblings? And your mom?"
"You can meet my mom and siblings tomorrow." Noah said, grabbing his phone. "I'll text Jake."
"Really?" Quinn asked.
"Yeah, I'll send a jet out for them." Noah added.
Quinn looked at him.
"I'm kidding." Noah smiled. "I don't have my own jet."
"Oh." Quinn nodded.
"Jake said they'll be here." Noah told Quinn. "I'm just warning you, Puckermans are a handful."
"I've done well with you." Quinn teased.
"Very funny." Noah said. "I'm easy. My mom, not so much."
"I can handle her." Quinn stated.
"Well, you should get some sleep anyway." Noah advised Quinn. "We can talk more tomorrow."
"Night, Noah."
"Night, Quinn."
