Noah kept himself busy with work and finishing everything for the baby before Finn's upcoming wedding.

Noah's world knew about Quinn and the baby, and some of his fans were excited and others were less enthused.

"Noah." Quinn said softly as she sat down on the couch. "My mom isn't coming."

"What? Why?" Noah questioned Quinn.

"She said she has another commitment this weekend." Quinn answered.

"I'm sorry, Q." Noah frowned. "I'll text Finn and tell him I can't make it."

Quinn shook her head. "No, you can go. It's not like I'm on my own. Melody's here."

Noah looked at Quinn.

"I'll call you if I need you." Quinn promised. "The baby will be fine."

"What if my mom comes?" Noah suggested.

"Your mom?" Quinn raised her eyebrow.

"Yeah, she wanted to come check that I didn't do anything wrong with the nursery and I'm sure she'd like to spend time with you." Noah stated.

"Do you think that's a good idea?" Quinn asked. "I barely know her."

"So you two can get to know each other better." Noah replied.

"Without a buffer?" Quinn questioned Noah.

"If you want a buffer, I'll see if Sarah can come with her. And if you don't want her coming, I won't call her." Noah promised. "But I'm sure it would mean a lot to her."

"Alright." Quinn gave in. "You can invite both of them."

Noah nodded. "Thanks, babe. It means a lot to me, too, you know."

"I know." Quinn said. "Go call them and then come hang out with me since you're leaving me."

"Oh, don't do that." Noah responded. "You know I'd stay here with you. All you have to do is say the word."

"You can't." Quinn shook her head. "But if I need you, I'll call you."

"Okay." Noah said. "I'm gonna go call my mom. I'll be right back."

"I'll be here."
