Third person's pov

It was night time already. Both of them had constantly busied themselves with their own work.

Despite all of this, they both knew it wasn't easy to forget each other. Although it was just a short time, they had made memories with one another.

Joslyn couldn't help but think back to what Sydney said yesterday. Again, she had the same question- Should she give him a chance? She just can't help but overthink and be the paranoid person she is.

Her fear, was the fact that he might leave her when he finds out everything, and I mean everything about her. Her deepest darkest secrets.

His fear was the rejection. Many times he had gotten rejected. To others it might seem small but to him it was a big. Rejection from friends, jobs and work. Most importantly, rejection from loved ones.

He has a very pleasing attitude. He tries to compromises when he can. That's how scared of rejection he is.

One thing was clear to everyone- They both have their own fears which are clouding their decision making.

If you couldn't tell, they both needed a little push so that's what happened. They bumped into each other. Totally had nothing to do with it. Proceeds to wink in the camera, acting cool.

Awkwardness floated around the atmosphere. I mean who wouldn't feel awkward after not talking for two days. And there was reasons.

So just imagine like you are watching some sort of drama where they bump into one another and they are like 'oops and sorry', all that jazz. It's hard to explain it but I did it :)

So, let's get back to them.

"Er oops! Sorry for my clumsy a$$. I have issues with walking or movement in general-" One of Joslyn's bad habits was rambling unnecessarily.

He heard a very familiar voice, a voice that he loved a lot. As both heads were lifted up, shock consumed their bodies. Like literally. They both stood there paralyzed, not expecting to see one another at all.

And miraculously, they somehow ended up at a café. Both decided it would be the best for both of them to communicate and talk it out.

Who knew just by doing that it helped with their relationship?

The next few hours, they forgot about work and just send time talking and understanding one another.

I think everyone they were close with was happy about this. They were in their moods, being triggered easily and emo all the time.

Jerome had only one thing to say to her when they ended their conversation- Will you agree to be my girlfriend? With that he left, leaving her shocked.

Joslyn obviously wanted to say yes but there was still a tugging feeling. She also had her family go consider. What if they felt unimportant and excluded?

Jerome had plans to make her his. It might sound possessive but we all know those two can't survive without each other.

Monday

Jerome decided to just fu5k the feeling of desperation and go to Joslyn's place to convince her.

At 6pm, he just stood outside of her house, holding flowers. When Joslyn opened the door, she was expecting the pizza delivery so she had prepared a $50 dollar note.

"Hi thanks for the pizza! Here's $50-" Joslyn said. However, there was Jerome standing in all glory.

They both couldn't help but let out a chuckle at the same time.

"Well come on in!" Joslyn responded after coming back to reality. And that's how Jerome ended up seating at the dining table with Joslyn and her family.

Before he was even 'granted' the permission of seating with them. The two youngest brothers grilled him with many questions. They were smart. They knew something was going on between their oldest sibling and Jerome.

Flashback

"Who are you?" Gavin questioned, eyes squinting in doubt.

Jerome couldn't help but chuckle mentally at the cute antics of the two teenagers but he still just answered them, going along with their interrogation.

"I'm Jerome Turner, a friend of your sister." He answered politely.

Questions like "What are your intentions with my sister?", "Do you like my sister", "What is your job?", etc. came flowing and Jerome all to the best all his ability.

Joslyn even blushed a little when she heard Jerome's response to one of the questions, I think you know what question. Smirks.

Flashback over

On today's menu we had a Korean cuisine feast. Ramen, seafood soup, bibimbap, tteokbokki, etc. Just your daily Korean feast at the James' household.

The James' household enjoys Asian cuisines a lot. Also, they are super adventurous when it comes to food. It was Jerome's first time to actually try Korean cuisine. Despite owning a company doing F&B services, his adventures for food are very limited.

During dinner, he never felt like a sore thumb. Everyone was very welcoming of him since they all knew cough cough that something was going to happen between Joslyn and Jerome.

After the dinner, the four siblings left the two adults for their time. "Joslyn, please. Just give me one chance" He looked at her with pleading and loving eyes. "I love you for who you are. Please?" He continued.

Joslyn decided to just take a risk. She had overwhelming feeling for him and it can't be ignored so she just nodded her head.

To which, Jerome picked her up and spun her around the living room, peppering kisses on her face. It's just the first thirty seconds since I have agreed and I don't regret one bit, she thought with a grin.

At the corner of her eyes, she saw four pairs of eyes watching. Guess where they were hiding. A statue which was barely 3 feet. Though they were crouched, it was so easy to spot them. Smacks head mentally.

Jerome was too elated, in his own world, finally his girl of his dreams said yes. "I love you so much and I promise to pamper you so much" He muttered into her ears, forming a beam on her face.

Jerome reluctantly let her down when she asked. He would definitely continuing holding her but queen's orders.

"You can come out now" She said deadpanned which shocked both the siblings. Jerome hadn't even realized they were spying on them. The siblings were shocked. They thought it was the best place to hide.

"It's your fault! Why did you ask us to hide there"

"You guys just agreed. Could have said something"

"Urgh!"

"See look we got busted"

"Whatever. At least #Jerlyn are together!!!"

"True"

"Hold your horses. What the flipping nugget is 'Jerlyn'?" Joslyn asked, unable to connect the dots.

"Your ship name. Duh" Bethany said nonchalantly, as if it was general knowledge, causing a chuckle from the new couple.

That was an eventful day alright.
