"I have to get some alcohol in me if I'm going to tell you the story" Trevor said before he stood up from the couch with a groan and walked towards the kitchen where he had kept the alcohol.

Trevor came back into the room with a bottle of whiskey and two glasses before he took a seat on the couch and put the alcohol and glasses on the table.

"You know we can't get drunk right" Ace said as Trevor started pouring the alcohol in the glasses.

"Well we can anyway. The not getting drunk part of the werewolf curse is something I have always hated. " Trevor remarked before he took a swing of the alcohol in front of him while Ace was sitting on the couch looking at him.

"Maybe it's a good thing." Ace said, giving his uncle a look.

"Maybe you are right" Trevor mumbled before putting his glass back down on the table.

"Your father hasn't always been this way.." His uncle started with a small sigh. Ace nodded because his father was a good man when he was born but after a couple years he started to change and then he changed to the way he is now.

"We still don't entirely know why he changed or what made him change." Trevor said, looking at his nephew.

"You still don't know why?" Ace mumbled looking a little confused how they hadn't figured it out yet.

Trevor shook his head and looked at his nephew when he rubbed a hand over his face with a groan. He knew that Ace wanted to know why his father became the horrible man that he is now.

"The only thing that we know is that my great grandfather became the same way when his son was born. I don't know what happened because my grandfather had a daughter before that but he stayed the same man he was but he drastically changed after the son's birth. " Trevor explained.

"So all we know is that this has been going on for generations?" Ace said looking his uncle in the eyes while he nodded.

"But we found some journals from my grandfather that we think have some information in them. But the thing is that we can't understand them at all, because he wrote them in a different language" Trevor explained, before he stood up and walked over to a box that was next to the fireplace.

He took a hold of the box and took it with him to place on the table in front of them. Ace stood up from his seat and looked at his uncle while he opened the box. Inside the box were stacks of journals with different dates on them.

"So these are his journals" Ace murmured as he picked up a journal from the top and started looking at the text inside. Ace continued to look at the text before the words in an ancient tongue started to change before his eyes to english words making him understand what he wrote in the journals.

"Um..."

Trevor looked up from the journal he was holding to his nephew who was staring down at the jornal in his hands. "What is it Ace?"

"I understand what he wrote..." Ace said, looking up at his uncle with big eyes. "We can find out what changed your great grandfather and my father".

"You were the clue that we have been looking for" Trevor murmured before he put down the journal in his hands and took a hold of a note that was on the table and gave it to Ace. "We translated this a while ago but could not find anything else."

"So I'm the only one that can read this... What does that even mean?" Ace questioned.

"It means that you have an even more important part in finding out the truth about our family" Trevor answered, shocked.
