Supporting

This kinda is going off of last chapter as I feel it kinda ties into attitude.

Who you support can also affect how people perceive you.

I'm having an awesome convo with someone on the attitude chapter rn and while chatting with them I brought up how Rowling supports a transphobic shop.

When you reveal who you support, it also affects whether you're going to rise or fall.

I'm gonna give another example that's on the whole Rowling issue if that's okay.

See, I used to have a big freaking crush on Eddie Redmayne (Newt actor). But then he came out as supporting Rowling. Since he's done this, many people now shun him and do not purchase movies he's been in. That's a negative example of how your choice of support can affect you.

A good example (and sorry, not an author lol). Is say an up and coming artist saying Dolly Parton is their role model. (I have never heard anything bad about Dolly. If others have heard otherwise let me know and I'll find a different example).

Why is Dolly good?

Well, she has done the following:

Donated to MANY charities (some include HIV/AIDS and children's hospitals)
Money made from her amusement park goes to the area she's from to help develop the area.
She has made a nonprofit to help in child literacy (this really moves me since literacy is a major struggle for children in the USA)
She's a mom to all children.
She also says Black Lives Matter, so YESSSSS!

So say someone admired and loves Dolly. That will give that person a good impact with how others will perceive them. Say, they also want to be like Dolly and that may make people like them more.

Just... don't say you want to and then not do it if you do succeed. That type of lying will hurt you.

Like me, personally, want to work in the same way she does, but mostly for helping children and other adolescents when it comes to reading and creative outlets, especially in communities where education levels are really low.

So, by having those you support and being open about it and genuine, can affect your reputation as well.

Not much of a writing tip, but kinda a more morality tip if that's okay this time around. Lol
