18+ (Lmao, again... WHOOPS)

Draco

—————

They both spent the rest of the two weeks of holiday break reading different books about Dark Magic trying to figure out a way to fix the Vanishing Cabinet before they got back to Hogwarts.

Trying different spells to figure out how to do the impossible tasks. Different charms. They were both actually teaching each other a lot. He knew Emersyn was smart, but he didn't realize how much time she actually put into working hard for top 5 until she showed him how she studied.

He actually didn't give a fuck about it, but he enjoyed hearing her talk, so he would let her explain whatever she wanted.

Draco wanted time to slow down. He didn't want to go back to school. Being home with Emersyn meant the world to him. His sweatshirts were always returned to him smelling a little sweeter. He woke up next to her warm body everyday. He loved it.

Anxious was the only word to describe the feelings of going to Hogwarts for the last term. This... this would be it for him. He obviously wasn't going to return after he completed the task.

All of his hard work and friendships he put into that school would be gone.

He had no choice. He had to do this.

He wasn't listening to her talk for the past hour or so, while they were in the kitchen together. She had been trying to learn how to cook something edible for the past few days... big yikes on that one.

"That's why if you really think about it, every time we close our eyes, you can like.. see the colours of the food. Y'know? Here try." she shoved a spoon in his face, he opened his mouth and chewed on whatever she gave him. He tried for the life of him to smile and pretend it was good but... he couldn't.

Emersyn smiled at him, hoping for a good response this time.

He didn't want to break her little chef heart, but Merlin's beard, she was terrible at cooking.

"That.. that is disgusting, Emersyn. Holy shit. Literally." he spat out the food onto a paper towel and grimaced,

Emersyn groaned, "Okay, well I guess I'll mark that off my list." She threw the food down on the plate, obviously frustrated.

"What list?"

"Being a domesticated housewife. I obviously can't fucking cook." she joked, as she pouted looking down at the Cooking Book.

"It's okay, Em. I know how to cook. Plus, we could always have a house elf... Or, I don't know, hire someone." Draco shrugged... he wasn't wrong.

Draco walked over to the trash can and threw away the paper towel as he was talking. They both needed to pack, they left for Hogwarts tomorrow.

She glanced over at him and frowned, not saying anything and starting to clean up the kitchen.

"What? I'm sorry but if you-"

She interrupted him, "You want to be with me.... forever?"

She looked... surprised?

What the fuck does she look surprised for?

"I mean... yeah?"

Emerysn head nodded slowly as she washed the dish she was using and put it on the drying rack. "Oh, okay." She shrugged and sighed out her response back to him. She started walking past him.

Oof. Red flag alert. He did not want to put up with the attitude tonight, not on the last night at home.

He decided to press the issue anyways.
Typical Draco.
