Rowan Bailey

"Where were you?" Draco stood in front of me with his arms crossed.

My smile instantly dropped, "I'm sorry?"

"Where have you been?" He touches my wet hair, but I push his hand away.

I shrug, "I just took a shower-"

"But your bathroom is here."

"I know." I drop my shoulders.

He stares at me like he was trying to read me.

He lets out a breath, "Look," he pauses and watches me, "I don't think you should be talking to Gryffindors....." he pastes in front of me back at forth.

It felt completely silent when he talked.

Like it all just passed by me.

"....Plus with Umbridge's new rules." he pauses again, "You really want to get yourself in trouble?"

I chuckle that quickly turns into a laugh.

He looks at me strange, "What?"

I walk past him, "Nothing, I just thought you were trying to control me, for a second."

"Rowan!" he calls.

"No, Draco." I turn to look at him, "I can do whatever I want."

I walk back to my room, with him following. My hair little by little dripping down the hallway as I shiver from the cold, I just needed a hot shower right now.

I walk in and slam the door behind me, Lena and Blaise were in there. They both look at me as I'm shaking from my cold clothes, "Row-" Lena tries to say.

"Rowan-" Draco runs in, closing the door behind him.

"NO! DRACO, NO!" I feel annoyed. Can he just stop, for once?

"Uhh, guys?" Blaise sits up from Lena's bed.

Lena starts walking towards us, "What's going on?"

"Draco's being a jerk," I look at him, "like always."

He scoffs, "I'm not the one screwing Gryffindors."

I walk away to grab clothes, "I'm not screwing anyone." I mumble.

"So why don't you tell us what Pansy was talking about at the party?"

"You're screwed in the head, that's for sure."

"Okay then go ahead tell us, tell us EXACTLY WHAT PANSY WAS TALKING ABOUT!"

Lena walks behind me, holding my arm, "Rowan? Are you okay-"

"YOUR SECRETS. WHY DONT YOU GO AHEAD AND TELL US!" Draco continues.

"You want to know the truth?" I look back, He waits for me to finish, "Your nothing but tearing people down. People like me."

He scoffs, "People like you."

I drop my clothes and snap at him, "Yeah, people like me. I was happy, for once." I paused, "Can't you just let me be fucking happy."

He hesitates, "What would your- your- father-"

"DON'T YOU EVER." I push him, "DARE," I push him again, "BRINGING HIM UP, AGAIN!" I pushed him one last time as my heart stopped; he knew better not to bring him up. He knew if anyone were to bring him up, I would feel numb from all the terrible things he's done to me.
