Red

Nineteen: My parents are disowning me

I'm probably going to stop apologizing for being so late almost all of the time and just get on with it :p I really have been extremely busy from university to travelling to working on my thread to basically just life and I had a writers block which is why I haven't updated. Well, now that the writers block is gone, I could move on with my life and tell you guys that this story is coming to an end as well, probably 25 chapters no more. I feel like this story deserves to be short and I have many other ideas that I want to expand. Anyways, here you go... 

Recap: Red and Damon are in a fight because Damon was being an asshole and told Red that he won't protect her and her family anymore.

Chapter 19

Knock.

Knock.

Knock.

"COMING!"

Knock.

Knock.

"I said I'm coming!" The door flew open and Sera stood there wiping her hands on her handkerchief when she noticed her daughters distraught face and frowned "Red, what happened?"

Red stood still staring at her mom with tears streaming down her face "I made a big mistake"

"Oh my god" Sera immediately pulled Red inside hugging her tightly as Red burst out in sobs.

"Mommy, I'm sorry" She cried "I'm very sorry"

"What happened, baby? Tell me" She brought her to the living room where Red's dad was there reading a book who let go of it immediately when he saw his daughter in tears.

"Red? What happened? Why are you home early?" He looked up at the clock it was 12:30, there were still 2 hours left of school.

"I made a big mistake, I made a really big mistake and I'm so sorry" She sobbed into her hands as her parents sat there extremely confused "Can you please calm down and tell us what happened?" her dad said and she nodded wiping away the tears but even though they kept coming she started to talk.

"Remember when my car broke down and I came home with a bloody nose?" She asked and they both nodded "That was when it all started"

"That was when what started?" Her mom asked.

Red explained the whole story to her parents not leaving a single detail.

"And then he said... he said he's not going to protect you guys anymore" She burst out crying.

"Oh my god" her mom repeated those 3 words over and over again unable to comprehend what her daughter got herself into.

Her father suddenly picked up the phone and started dialing a number.

"Dad?" Red furrowed her eyebrows wiping away her tears "What are you doing?"

"Calling the police" He replied and placed the phone against his ear when Red rushed to him and snatched the phone away "Dad you can’t!"

"THE HECK I CAN. GIVE IT BACK." He yelled furiously. Red shook her head as more tears leaked down her face "Dad, he would know we lost Damon's protection. Daddy please, listen to me. We'd be dead in seconds if we tell anything to the police"

"This is what I get for raising a stupid child!" He growled and Sera gasped "Don't say that"

"SHE IS STUPID!" He roared "WE'VE GIVEN YOU EVERYTHING, RED. EVERYTHING. IS THAT HOW YOU REPAY US? We told you a million times to stay away from Damon. YOU HAD TO GET INVOLVED. GO TO YOUR ROOM RED. I DON'T WANT TO HEAR ABOUT THIS AGAIN."
