Chapter 20

The car continued to move for almost half an hour before stopping somewhere. Damon couldn’t exactly tell because he was too busy thinking of a way to get out of this. On the bright side he found it the perfect opportunity to end this feud for good; by killing Sawyer Raven.

When the car came to a halt, two men helped carry Damon up and drag him out of the vehicle as he struggled hoping to be able to free himself but he couldn’t do anything about it since his eyesight was completely blocked.

“LET ME GO!” He shouted and screamed hoping for someone to hear him but his voice echoed around making him believe that they were in a big empty room. He heard the scraping of a chair as he was pushed violently on it and strapped on tightly around his wrists and ankles. He felt another chair being pushed behind him and he immediately knew that they brought Red to the same place and strapped her in behind Damon.

“DON’T YOU LAY A HAND ON HER” Damon spat angrily at the men who laughed at his silly attempt. He was helpless when Red was around him. He couldn’t help but be extremely worried about what’s going to happen next to her. These men were merciless. What they want, they will get, and nothing will stop them.

Red woke up with a loud gasp, her head was pounding heavily and she had the biggest headache she’s ever had in her whole life. When she opened her eyes, she couldn’t see a thing which made her start to have a panic attack because of the black thing that was covering all of her face.

“Calm down, Red. It’s okay. Just listen to me” Damon said calmly as he watched her squirm and gasp for a breath. He could tell that no one was left in the room because no one bothered to ask Red what was going on.

Red slowly calmed down and regained her normal breathing when she remembered what happened and started to cry.

“I don’t want to die, Damon, please!” She wailed trying to see if she could get her hand out of the tight rope that was wrapped around her wrist.

“Red, don’t be stupid and just do exactly what I tell you to do and you’ll be fine”

“I’m not stupid!”

“Oh God, I liked you better when you were unconscious”

“What’s that supposed to mean!?” She yelled at him and he groaned “It means that you are being annoying”

“What?! Me?! You’re the one who started this mess in the first place!” Red yelled back at him.

“Like I was the one acting like a stubborn bitch for attention”

“You’re being mean, Damon!”

“Why did I have to be the one stuck in here with you? I would rather die than take another moment of this” Damon said with a loud sigh.

“It’s your lucky day then, Cooper” Another voice joined into their conversation and Damon was immediately aware of who was talking.

Red didn’t say anything because she knew that anything that will come out of her mouth would cause even more trouble.

“Sawyer” Damon hissed trying to concentrate on where the voice was coming from when all of a sudden, the bag on his head was snatched away making him squint as the strong white light hit him in the face. He slowly opened his eyes getting used to the sudden light and looked slowly around him. Damon and Red were placed in the middle of a huge empty warehouse that had no windows, and only one main door that was heavily locked. It also had bright white lights that hung from the ceiling illuminating the warehouse.
