Frozen Tears (OC x Stardew Valley Sebastian)

1- Leaving Joja

My life has been boring. I worked at a desk job, answering calls, doing nothing that I would ever choose for myself. 

So, key word, I worked there. 

One day, I remembered that my grandpa had once left me a letter meant to be opened when I was tired of my life. And so, when I opened it, I learned about a little town named Pelican Town in Stardew Valley, where a farm was sitting, waiting for me. I had laughed and thought man, imagine knowing how to run a farm!

And so I went online and did some research, and learned how to run a farm. I was sure it would be a lot easier in theory than in practice. But of course I wasn't actually going to consider leaving my stable job for an unpredictable life at a farm in a town I'd never heard of. Of course not. Why would I ever do something like that? That type of life isn't meant for boring people like me. I could never do something so spontaneous.

About an hour later, I told my boss I was quitting and booked a train ticket to Stardew Valley. I packed up my things, leaving behind an awful ex boyfriend, my dad, and my stable job for my life on a farm. 

I am on that bus now. I cannot believe I did this.

WHAT WAS I THINKING!? 

I suppose it is too late now to ask the bus driver to pull over. Oh, what have I done. I have a total of 500 coins. What... what have I done. 

No, this will be good for me. I can't keep that job forever.

Right?

I have no clue. But I am hoping that whatever awaits me at Stardew Valley will have a promising future.

Despite it all, I am optimistic.

The bus slows and eventually comes to a stop. I grip my suitcase in my hand. 

I am here. I can't believe that I did this.

I am going to incorporate a lot of gameplay elements into this story, but not all of it is going to be accurate to the actual game. Some dates that things occur in the game may show up earlier or later. Just to let ya know.
