"Ezra" I say softly. He's dressed in grey sweatpants and has thrown a black crew neck on over an orange shirt. He's also wearing his wide brimmed glasses and his hair, like usual, looks like he just rolled out of bed.

Dimples form crescents in his cheeks and the tip of his nose has turned red from the cold outside. He walks over to the table and rest the drinks down next to me.

Shrugging off his backpack he puts it on the ground and the reaches for the drinks.

"One hot chocolate for you and one black coffee for me." he says while setting the drink down in front of me.

"Ez thats sweet, thank you, you didn't have to do that" I say grabbing the drink, warmth spreading onto my hands.

"Figured you could use a pick me up from the studying. You passed me on your way here, I was in the coffee shop when you walked by, I'm surprised you didn't walk in for your normal study order" he says while sitting down next to me.

"Yeah my mind was kinda somewhere else while walking here" I respond.

He nods and begins to unpack his bag. Once settled he pulls opens his laptop and begins to work. I put the music back on and dive my nose back into the book and continue to fill out the study guide.

We work in silence, the sounds of strings filling in the space. It's not until I hear my stomach make a loud grumble that I finally check the time on my phone.

4pm.

No new notifications.

My thoughts immediately fly back to Harry, his plane is probably about to accelerate off the landing strip right now. Taking him away.

Distracting myself I go back to studying.

I'm pulled from the text of Thoreau when Ezra says with a smile:

"Wanna get dinner? I'm starving and from the sounds of your stomach earlier it appears that you are too."

I nod and respond, "yeah actually, I've been so distracted I didn't even realize how much time had gone by." I check my phone again, the time now reading 6pm.

"Wanna order Thai?" Ezra asks, pulling up the number of the Thai place we normally order from.

"Mhm that works for me, you know my order right?" I ask.

Ezra scoffs and leans back while holding his hand to his heart.

"Evelyn, you wound me, of course I know your order. We've only gotten Thai like a hundred times" he says with a smile.

I laugh and gently nudge his shoulder. He calls the restaurant and quickly orders our food. We make small talk as we wait for the food to arrive, talking about my exam tomorrow.

When the conversation dies down I quickly browse through Instagram.

Clicking through the stories I see a picture of one of my brothers and his new fling of the week, why am I not surprised I think to myself. Clicking through some more I see a photo of someones coffee in front of the fall leaves of Boston and a photo of ... Harry?

He's changed from the outfit I saw him in this morning, now wearing a blue hat on backwards and a blue jumper. The background is clearly an airport and he's even added a little plane ticket gif for extra measure.

A pang of something I can't quite put my finger on runs through my body and I look at the time stamp on the story. Posted two hours ago.

I lock my phone, tossing it back into my backpack.
