Second and last part

The day after they got back together, Andy had to go to work even though he would have preferred to stay home one more day but couldn't.

Andy: "I would like to stay here again today for the whole day"

Robert: "But you can't"

Andy: "Unfortunately not"

Robert: "You will find me here when you return"

Andy: "I know. What are you going to do today? You have to go to work?"

Robert: "I actually quit that company"

Andy: "What? Because?"

Robert: "Do you remember when I helped you with the fire in the woods?" Andy nodded. "I shouldn't have come there. When I went back to my colleague, he didn't take it well, that wasn't our job and I quit"

Andy: "Why did you come there then?"

Robert: "We passed by before we went where they called us and while we were waiting for the gate to open for us I heard what you were saying on the radio and when I heard you needed help I came. I don't regret that decision"

Andy: "I understand. Do you miss it?"

Robert: "My job? Yes"

Andy: "And how do you spend your days alone at home?"

Robert: "Experimenting with new foods in the kitchen"

Andy: "Really?"

Robert: "Yeah. The first days after the operation, when I could only do a few things, I spent the days in bed and the only decent thing on TV were cooking shows"

Andy: "I can't wait to try new things"

Robert: "I'll prepare something special for tonight. But now you have to get up or you will be late, in the meantime I'm going to prepare breakfast"

Andy: "Another 5 minutes like this and then I'll get up"

After breakfast, Andy went out to work while Robert fixed the house. The day before Andy hadn't fixed his things so the next day Robert thought about it, he had to stay at home so much and he had to do something. When Andy arrived at the station, Maya and Ben were waiting for her, they wanted to know how the return home had gone. She had seen them but tried to ignore them as much as possible, it was obvious that everything was fine otherwise she would not have arrived almost late that morning. After changing she was coming out of her bunk and when she opened the door Maya was out there waiting for her.

Maya: "Warren isn't there, how did it go?"

Andy: "It went well" she said with a toothy smile.

Maya: "And.. did you talk?"

Andy: "I know you're not really interested in knowing the answer to your question. You just want to know if we had sex and yes we did, I missed it, but I won't tell you anything more about it"

Maya: "Ok, ok I won't ask anything else. Just one thing, are you happy now?"

Andy: "Yes. Can we work now?"

Maya: "Let's go"

Andy's day had passed like all the previous ones. There were a few calls for people who were unwell and one to put out a small house fire. At home, however, Robert had decided to prepare something special for dinner. He sat down on the sofa, grabbed his computer and started looking for something special for dinner. He still didn't have a clear idea of ​​what to look for, so he started scrolling through the pages until a menu appeared that intrigued him. The menu included a risotto with truffles then a roast stuffed with baked potatoes and a chocolate cake. He had written a list with all the necessary ingredients and then went shopping. While he was at the supermarket he also took what he needed to make homemade bread and red wine. Once back home, he first prepared the dough for the bread and then started preparing everything else. He had worked hard all day to make sure everything was perfect. While the last things were about to finish cooking, he set the table by placing candles in the center and then went to take a shower and change. It was almost all ready when Andy got home.
