This would have been out earlier, but I didn't get time to write it yesterday and I had to do missing work today. Anyways, this chapter is shorter than usual, but it's connected to tomorrows chapter.

Damian had been to Francis Dupont for a week. If you had common sense and had been there currently, you would say that the school was insane. There were only a few sane people that worked or went there as students.

It was the weekend now, so the kids/teens didn't have to go to school. At around lunch time, Damian went to Marinette's parents bakery. He had asked if he could come over to her house, and she had said yes.

He was inside the bakery and asked her parents if he could go up to see Marinette. Her dad, Tom, led him up to her room while Sabine stayed at the counter to see if anyone would come in to buy something.

Tom had led him all the way up to where they were living. When they got to the living room, he told him to knock at the ceiling door and wait until she said to come in. Tom left after that.

Damian walked up the steps and knocked on the door. He heard a faint come in and guaranteed that as access to come into her room. When he came in, he saw tons of paper overflowing her trash bin and her with a frustrated look, balling up another piece of paper before throwing it.

Marinette turned to him. "I know we were going to hang out here today, but I want to design something. But I have artist block. Do you mind coming with me to my secret garden of inspiration?" Marinette asked Damian. Damian shook his head.

Marinette had put on her purse and shoes and grabbed her sketchbook which contained a pencil. She motioned for him to follow her.

Damian walked right back downstairs with Marinette this time. He didn't mind it though. When they got to the bakery, Marinette said bye to her parents and they were off to the garden.

After a long series of twists and turns, they had made it to her garden. Damian noted that it was very close to the hotel he was living at. All around the place, there was a path where people could walk without damaging the flowers that were there. Everywhere else, there were flowers of different colors surrounding everything. Damian could only wonder how it was a secret.

Marinette went to a bench to sit and Damian followed suit. Marinette had gotten out her sketchbook and started to look around and sketch. Damian was watching her and occasionally made comments, which Marinette appreciated.

After a while, Damian got up and went to a group of flowers. He picked one up and went back over to Marinette. He sat right beside her, again.

Damian waited until she turned the page and took that as his time to get her attention.

"Marinette, look at me for a second." Damian told her. She turned her head towards him. He picked the flower that was just sitting in his lap, and put it in his head. Knowing that she was too far away for him to easily put it on her, he muttered something. "Come closer Angel." Marinette blushed hard at his words, but scooted closer to him, nonetheless. Damian didn't even realize he said it.

Damian put the flower, cherry blossom, in her hair. Marinette picked up her phone and went to the camera app. She looked at herself and liked it. It went well with her outfit. She was wearing a pastel pink blouse tucked into some jeans.

Marinette decided right then that she actually wanted to spend some time with Damian. She closed her sketchbook and put it up. She turned back to him. "Do you want to go out and do something?" Marinette asked him.

"You're done sketching?" Damian asked and he received a nod. "Let's go to my place so I can change for the weather, then we can go out."

Marinette nodded and got up. Damian took her hand and they were off to his hotel room.

My friend brought a brought a five pound pack of jolly ranchers to school. She shared it with everyone at lunch, including the teacher. She let us take how much we wanted since she wasn't going to finish it. She still has three pounds left. And she gave two pounds of it to one person cause he asked. Don't question it. It was Friday and that teacher was one that let us do whatever as long as we did our work.
