Daminette December

Day 11: Snowglobe

I literally had two assignments to do for all my classes today. This is why I like Fridays. 

Marinette's parents let her stay home the next day. They knew she had had a hard day the other day since she didn't wake up to any of the times they had tried to wake her up. They had called the school and told them that Marinette wasn't going to school that day.

Marinette officially woke up at around noon. Looking at the time, she knew that her parents allowed her to stay at school. She had taken a shower and put on some pajamas since she wasn't going out that day. After that, she went back into bed, getting comfortable since she knew she was going to have three visitors later on.

At school, Lila had noticed that Marinette was gone. This was one of her chances to get the new kids, who she thought his name was Damon, on her side.

Lila went up to him before they were about to switch periods. There was no one in there except them two since everyone else had rushed out their class. She had noted that he was texting someone on his phone. A phone that she knew was expensive since it was one of the newest phones to come out. She knew that she would have to get him to be her friend.

"Excuse me, Damon?" Lila asked. Damian didn't look up at her. Just continued to text whoever he was texting. After a text and an eyeroll later, he got his stuff and went to the door of the class to exit it.

"I'm talking to you!" Lila yelled. Damian stopped and looked at her with a bored expression and an eyebrow raised.

"Sorry for yelling." Lila said. "It's just that I want you to know that Marinette is a bad influence on people and someone you shouldn't be hanging around with. Last night, when I was going out to go get something from the store that I forgot, she somehow saw me, and I think she followed me, and she started to curse me out. She would have beat me up but she claimed to have to go back home." Lila said, about to sprout some tears.

"And why are you telling me this?" Damian asked. Lila was caught off guard by that. "You could say that she was verbally abusing you last night, which she wasn't, but why are you telling me this and not your parents? Shouldn't you tell them to get out of the bullying environment?" Lila just stood there frozen. No one had ever asked her that before.

"How do you know where she was last night?" Lila managed to ask.

Damian turned his body and smirked. "She was with me all night."

At lunch, Kagami, Chloe, Sabrina, and Damian went to the bakery. Sabine and Tom gladly let them up. When they got up there, they saw Marinette on her phone. They made their presence known and she waved to them.

Marinette went to them and hugged them. They sat on the floor and started talking about their day. When Chloe, Kagami, and Sabrina were in their own world for a moment, Marinette took a moment to look at Damian.

He had a slight smile on his face, but other than that, he looked normal. When she went to look at his hand to see the ring, she realized that it wasn't there. She nudged Damian and pointed to her hand to signify that she wanted to know where the ring was. He looked at her desk behind her.

Marinette went to get it and gave it to him. "It's yours now." Marinette whispered to him. He took it and had put it on his finger, turning it into a black metal ring.

"Marinette, where are your Christmas decorations?" Chloe asked the girl.

"I forgot this year and didn't feel like doing it." Marinette says shrugging.

"Ridiculous. Utterly ridiculous. We still have an hour and a half left until lunch is over. We can eat on the way there. We're getting you some decorations for your room." Chloe said, dragging the girl to go get something to wear.

Five minutes later, Marinette was in an outfit that was okay to wear in public. Once approved by Chloe they had left to go to a store that had sold Christmas decorations.

They were passing the aisle where the snowglobes were. They were looking at them, trying to see if there were anyones that would match the theme that they were planning to have for her room.

Marinette and Damian were looking at them together, while Sabrina, Chloe, and Kagami were looking at others. When they got to the Ladybug ones, Damian stopped and looked at them.

"It's you." Damian said loud enough for Marinette to hear. But the thing was, the Ladybug ones were right beside ones that had an angel inside. Marinette didn't know which he meant, but blushed either way.

"So when are we going to commence project "Daminette"?" Sabrina asked. They had this plan going on for a while when they realized that Damian liked Marinette a whole lot more than he did with other people.

"When we get back to Maribug's house." Chloe said, looking at the two.

The three of the girls all approved of Damian. He knew how to stick up for her, would do anything for her, and would probably let himself be dragged to do something he hated if it meant she loved it.

"If this goes according to plan, he better not hurt Mari-hime or there'll be consequences." Kagami said. 

So my uncultured self decided to watch anime for the first time in my life. So my friend, being the weeb she is, recommended me some animes. I didn't choose any of them and somehow chose Hunter x Hunter. So anyways, I'm mad at myself since I can't pronounce my favorite characters names right. I swear I can never say Gon's and Kullia's names right. It's annoying. Anyway, thanks for reading my rant, sort of.
