FELIX HAD BEEN ACTING as if nothing had happened the day prior. He made no statement on it, he made no advancements because of it.
And it was starting to irritate Chan to no other.
He knew that, technically, Felix didn't have to have anything to say about it. He knew that, if Felix wanted to, that he didn't have to say anything regarding it.
Maybe that's what bothered Chan. The fact that Felix didn't have to- and therefore, didn't -talk about what had happened between them when Changbin had dared the two of them to, quite literally, make out in front of the entire group.
Another thing was that Felix wasn't at all swayed by it. He seemed to return to the way he had been before- the same, seemingly touch starved boy that had stared Chan down into coming to him at his little island shop. He was still smiling, and he was still- frankly -as clueless as he had ever been.
Chan wanted answers, but he knew he couldn't fish them out of Felix subtly. There simply wasn't any way for him to do that- considering the fact that he, not only didn't know Felix enough to manipulate him into spilling it all, but didn't want to do something that would turn Felix against him.
Of course, there was always his mind controlling jazz- but he was too new to this whole thing to even remember that he could just tell Felix to tell him what was on his mind about it.
But, again, Chan was a halfwit and didn't think about that.
With his emotions in mind, Chan was throwing his fists clumsily against the boxing mitts that Hyunjin had over his hands.
To say that Hyunjin was scared would have been a very big understatement.
Chan knew for a fact that Hyunjin was used to this by now- he had been told that he did this for Minho. Though, poor Hyunjin- when Chan had asked him he was expecting it to be less aggressive than it was.
"Channie," Hyunjin hummed as soon as Chan had paused, "you hit kind of hard."
The brunet snorted in response, throwing a final round of quick punches against the mitts before he dropped his hands and god-awful posture.
Chan released a sigh and rubbed his knuckles gently, "sorry, Hyunjin. I've just had a lot on my mind."
"Do you want to talk about it? Or did you punch my hands enough to get that out?"
He chuckled at Hyunjin's comment, stepping away from him with a breath. "I think I'm alright. It isn't important anyway. But... About Jisung yesterday, did his question seriously bother you?"
He watched Hyunjin's face fall, and he awkwardly began to rub his arm as he took a step away. "You don't need to tell me if it makes you uncomfortable."
"No, no, it's fine. Jisung's question just scared me a little bit. Considering how personal it is."
Chan nodded his head. "I take it that you aren't really open with everyone else as much as you are with Changbin?"
At that question, Hyunjin's eyes narrowed and his face contorted into one of disgust. "Me? Close to Changbin? Yeah, no. Never. You are very greatly mistaken."
"Whatever helps you sleep at night, Hyunjin. Whatever helps you sleep at night."
The pair giggled softly, and they eventually migrated towards the- very deadly stairs (Chan learned this when he accidentally missed a step) -and up towards the door back into Changbin's room.
While they were walking towards the door, it opened- Seungmin peeking his head through the crack as the two of them froze in place. Hyunjin's eyes had widened into circles that looked a bit like doe eyes, though, Chan noticed it was for a very different reason to Seungmin just opening the door.
