AFTER HE DEPARTED FROM the other groups with Jeongin and Seungmin leading, Chan managed to calm his shaking hands enough to dislodge a brick with water.
Jeongin had shrunk himself to the size of a mouse, just like Seungmin instructed, and had Seungmin slide him through the hole that Chan had created, sending a small vine along with him so that he could make it to the ground safely.
Just as Felix had said earlier, Jeongin had found another gate just a few steps down, and gently swung it open. The witch then motioned for them to come inside before they managed to get caught, and closed the gate behind them.
"So, door, right?" Jeongin asked the moment the gate rattled closed, his voice hushed.
Chan just nodded his head softly, turning to look back at the large castle. It didn't look like there were any doors that would lead into the castle. None that were located on the ground, anyway.
His eyes lifted up the walls, and he noticed Jeongin and Seungmin's eyes doing the same- raising up towards a large balcony that was facing the trees behind it.
Jeongin and Chan both turned and faced Seungmin, who gave them both a confused look. It wasn't until Jeongin raised his shoulders that he understood what he had to do.
They stepped away from Seungmin as he raised his hand slightly, a long vine following only for a moment before it flew up and over the balcony, wrapping around one of the corner pillars. Seungmin tugged down on one of his hands, and the vine just jerked against it before falling limp.
"If you climb fast, you should be able to make it. Jeongin, use your aerial silk skills or whatever."
Jeongin nodded his head and jumped up onto the vine, only to wrap his foot with it and pull himself up. Chan blinked at him as he watched.
He had no idea that he was able to do something like that.
Jeongin repeated said steps over, and over, and over again until he reached the top, and then he threw himself over with a thud and shot back up.
The brunet released a small sigh and grabbed onto the vine just as Jeongin had, and tried to do just as Jeongin did- though after the third time of trying to successfully wrap his foot with the vine, he caved in to it and simply grabbed at the vine with his feet as he climbed up it.
He did the same as Jeongin once he reached the top, and tossed himself over the edge and fell to his knees.
After moments of waiting, Seungmin eventually joined them, but was set down gently by the vine. All three of them straightened their backs and stared at the door. Chan took weary steps forward, and gently placed his hand on the handle, only to push it open.
It creaked, loudly, before the three of them took slow steps inside.
What was the objective of us getting inside again?
When he got no response, he turned and glanced back at Jeongin and Seungmin, an eyebrow raised in their direction before they just motioned for him to follow.
The room was huge- nothing Chan had ever thought he'd see before.
On the wall just in front of the overly large bed, was a picture of a serval kitten (one that oddly resembled Minho, but he decided not to think anything of it) next to what Chan assumed was a younger Felix.
Before he stared at it for too long, Jeongin grabbed him just above his elbow and dragged him towards the door. The door opened slowly, and Seungmin peered around the corner, slipping himself out and motioning for the two of them to follow.
