I cut tyler off with a huge hug, he returns it and squeezes.
"I thought I'd never see you again tyler.".
I start to cry, I cant believe hes here. hes really here.
"I would never let you go away.". he starts to cry happy tears too.
he rolls up his sleeve, "you still have it?" he asks.
I wipe my eyes, "of course I do..". I roll mine up to see a bracelet.

I remember the bracelets he and I gave eachother on my 10th birthday.
I give him another huge hug which ends up in us swaying from side to side.
"i told you I'd never leave you alone Y/N, best friends stick together". he says with teary eyes.
"god, i missed you so much.".
tyler and I have been best friends since I was 8. I met him in elementary school, he was pretty popular at the time, and played basketball with his friends a lot.
one day while they were playing, I sat near the court, it was a little funny seeing them miss their baskets. I was reading my book relaxing, when tyler shot the basketball, missed and it hit me right in the head.
I was knocked out for a few minutes, and woke up in the nurses office. I saw Tyler on the edge of my bed waiting for me to wake up, I must've been out for longer than expected because he was laying his head down, I'm sure he was sleeping.
i tried to sit up and Tyler woke up. he looked at me, "omg your alive.". he smiled really big, and have me a huge hug, "I'm so so so so so so sorry, I never meant to hit you!".
"ah, it's okay. but my heads throbbing, what happened? you hit me?".
long story short, we became best of friends after that.
after elementary, his mom forced him to move away a long ways away.
it was heart breaking and I never really got over not seeing him every day.
but now hes here, hes really here.
"how long are you staying here?" I ask tyler
"my mom got a job here, we just moved, how long are you staying?".
"I'm staying here forever. I just moved too!".
I give him a huge hug again, tears dripping from my eyes.
he wipes my face and hugs me once more.
"I missed you so much Y/N".
"I missed you too tyler"
BRING BRINGGG BRING
the bell scares me again,
"ah crap, we must've missed our first period, sorry..".
"hey, I got to see my bestest friend again. its worth it.".
he smiles and I wipe my face once more.
he gives me one more hug, and we agree to text eachother and meet up after school.
"bye Y/N!!"
"Bye tyler!".
