Chapter 20

Well..this is going to be hard..I walk around and start faking my tasks. "Ludwig?" I say. "Yeah Katie?" I bring him over the the vent in reactor and close the door before hopping into the vent and right back out. "I have a mission. I'm still protecting you." I giggle and we walk down to storage to see corpse. I close the north and east doors then call lights then go to electrical with Lud to look innocent.

I am almost done fixing the lights when Brooke's  body is reported. "Noooo corpse!" I yell when I see he's dead. I hear him laugh faintly from the room over. "Where was everyone?" Toast asks. Brooke and Ash are also dead. "I was fixing lights with with Ludwig." "That's a long time Katie.." "let's get her guys!" Sykkuno says. "B-but guys it wasn't me.." "I was with Katie the whole time guys!" "Oh well umm we already voted for her. Ludwig is probably the second imposter!" Poki says.

I get thrown out and I don't really feel like doing anything else this round. "KATIE YOU KILLED ME" corpse laughs out. "Oh..yea I did." "Everything okay Katie?" Brooke asks. We haven't known each other long but she's like a sister to me. "I-it was just a long day at school.." "awww I'm sorry." She says. "It's fine. I'll be back." I say then mute myself and shut off my camera. I go over to the door separating me and corpses room and knock lightly. "Oh hang on a sec guys." He tells his chat then mutes. I hear footsteps and then the door opens. "Everything alright baby?" I nod slightly. "I just wanted a hug.."

He coos and then hugs me picking me up we stay like that until the game ends and then we go back to our computers, hitting the play again button then go back to hugging. "I think my baby is a little clingy today. And I like that." I giggle and cuddle closer. "Are Corpse and Katie afk?" Rae asks. As I sit back down at my computer. Corpse closes the door and goes back to his stream. "I don't know maybe." Ludwig says. They both kill us then call lights and run off. "I'm back guys. Oh Jesus..corpse they killed us!" "I know baby isn't it sad?" "Yeah. Let's go on a task date!!!"  "Okay baby whatever you want to do."  he says.

He comes up to me and makes a kiss noise. "See I gave you a kiss it's official!" I giggle and we go on to do our tasks. "Hello kitten. I can't wait to see you tomorrow." Is read for a $10 donation from someone named Samual Martin. Mr.Martin...that sends a chill down my spine. He's watching my stream. Before I know it the games over and we switch the map. We play a few more games and he keeps sending donations that are read through my speaker. My breath becomes a little uneven.

"A couple more games? It's close to dinner time." Sykkuno says and the group agrees. We start the game, Ludwig and Brooke following me to "protect me" I mute myself in fear it will become clear to the group I'm having an anxiety attack and I shut off my camera. They follow me and I keep close to them we make our way from o2 to decontamination to specimen then up to the labs before a body is reported.

I am composed enough to turn back on my camera. "Where's Katie? I've been looking for her all round.." Rae asks. "Yeah I've been looking for her all round." Toast says. "Don't worry guys Katie is alive and is safe." Lud tells them. "Katie where are you?" Toast asks. "Katie you don't have to tell him." Lud says. "Katie tell me." He pushes. I'm not gonna lie Toast scares me a lot..

"I-I-I was in medbay..I umm..I-I don't think I should be talking right now.." you can hear the trembling in my voice and I hate it. I get a few text notifications on my phone from group members. The last game drags out and then it ends in a defeat. I leave the game and discord call without saying goodbye. I just want to sleep..I end my stream then change into some comfy clothes before getting under my covers and falling asleep.
